NCB Files Charge-Sheet Of 12,000 Pages In Sushant Singh Rajput's Case! Rhea Chakraborty Named


Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, allegedly by suicide, on June last year. The Narcotics Control Bureau began it's probe into the drug angle in August. Now, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday filed a massive charge-sheet before a special court (NDPS) in Mumbai in its drugs angle case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput last year. it has filed a massive chargesheet in front of a special NDPS court.

The over 12,000-page charge-sheet has named 33 accused, including actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik. The voluminous document has statements of over 200 witnesses.

The chargesheet has also traced the trail of narcotics in Mumbai. After the first arrest the agency made in September, NCB had six months to file the chargesheet. The case was registered in August after the Enforcement Directorate shared private WhatsApp chats allegedly on sourcing drugs between Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and some of Sushant Singh Rajput's staff. They were accused by the agency of supplying drugs to the actor. While Rhea, Showik, and Sushant Singh Rajput's staff are out on bail, the agency arrested over 30 people in connection with this, and several are in custody at present.

The agency conducted raids in several locations of Maharashtra and claimed to have busted a few rackets.

It recorded statements of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet, Shraddha Kapoor, and Arjun Rampal, among others.

All these have been submitted to the court. They will now be verified and then the accused will be asked to appear in the court.
