Amrita comes across Rani in the corridor, and says he is really stubborn. Rani says he will now know he alone isn’t stubborn. Amrita tells Rani that tonight everyone in the palace will go for Pooja outside, Raja would be alone so she can make him up.
At night, Raja sat alone thinking about the burning incident and Jeewan taking Rani away. Tear fell over his hand that he withdraws at once. He comes downstairs in the hall and hears Rani singing. He turns walk inside, Rani stops him and dances around him. He was concerned watching her burnt hand, and walks into the store room. They stand in front of Gayatri and Rana ji’s photo. Rani hug him saying she loves him a lot. Raja hug her back, confessing his love for her as well.
During their hug Rani says she knew he was lying to himself as well, today all the misunderstandings have been cleared. Raja unstraps her dress, Rani pushes him away wondering what he is doing. Raja replies he is just loving her, Rani says this isn’t what love means. Raja asks if love doesn’t mean this, she wouldn’t have left her respect behind to come to palace at this time of night. He questions Rani about her song’s lyrics. Rani cries questioning why he hurt her. Raja moves away saying he doesn’t care for her tears anymore. There was only an attraction between them, that is normal in this age; but such stories only last for one night. They can prolong this story to a number of nights, if she wish for. Rani asks Raja if this relation means only enjoyment for him, then alright.
She removes her stroller off her, loosening the stripe of her dress and walks closer to him. She moves closer to him to kiss him, he jerks her away angrily and asks if she has gone crazy. Rani smiles victoriously, boasting she found out the truth. She can peek into his heart. Raja warns Rani to leave, before he does something for which she can’t forgive him.
Rani tells Raja she won’t go anywhere, college is starting from tomorrow. She will go to college, and fulfil her Dadu’s dream. If he really doesn’t love her, her presence must not make any difference for her. She want to see how he lives happily, making her go away from him. She drapes herself in her stroller, and wish to meet him in college tomorrow before leaving.
Raaj Mata pours tea for Jeewan, Jeewan questions where it has been written that only Rani must bend. Raaj Mata explains that apologizing doesn’t mean Rani considers her smaller than Raja, this only qualifies she wants to save her friendship. Jeewan insists that Raaj doesn’t love Rani, Rani comes home clarifying she loves Raja. She stops Jeewan, as she doesn’t want to hear anything against Raja. Jeewan asks her again to listen to him, Rani tells him to go home, it’s late and they want to sleep. She takes Raaj Mata inside, Jeewan leaves helpless.
On the breakfast table next day, Kaal tells Raja he was sure Raja can’t complete this hotel project. When the girl Rani left him, who put all her life at stake for him, who else will stay. Raja argues it is her head ache. Amrita interrupts them discussing work matters, and asks Bindu how her foreign trip was. Bindu excitedly tells them the beauty of London. Raja curtly asks why she returned. Bindu says she came back for him only, then explains it was because their college is starting from tomorrow. She was excited as Raja has also been promoted this year. Raja informs he won’t go to college anymore. Kaal says alright, if a horse can’t win the race he must not run the race. Raja passed the exam this year only because of Rani. Raja leaves the table.
The next morning in college, Meenu comes to greet Rani. The bell rings, Rani looked around when Bindu comes to her saying if Raja didn’t tell her. She taunts Rani to be down market again, Rani comes to the point asking what Raja didn’t share with her. Bindu says Raja won’t come to college anymore. Rani wonders why Raja doesn’t accept his love, if he is so much moved by her presence. Raja comes whistling from behind a tree. Bindu goes hugging him, Raja says he came for Bindu only because she would have been sad otherwise. He walks to Rani now, greeting her with a Hi. Rani replies hello. He compliments her, singing for her. He asks Rani if she thought he will leave the college to stay away from her, this city and college both belong to him; if someone has to leave its going to be Rani. He goes inside with Bindu.
In the class the teacher was marking attendance, Rani takes her permission to enter the glass. Raja enters the class, the teacher scolds him for entering without her permission. Raja boasts this is his college, he doesn’t need a permission to enter anywhere. The teacher allows him to take a seat. Rani leaves the seat beside her, but he moves to the other chair. He smiles mockingly. Jeewan was late, but asks a permission and the teacher allows him. He spots a seat beside Rani, she leaves the chair for him. Raja visibly dislike this.
Jeewan teases Rani during the class writing notes for her, she laughs reading it, then accept his apology. Raja had torn the paper with nib in rage, and leaves the class as soon as the bell rings
Everyone was sitting outdoor, Raja sat uninterested with his friends. Jeewan and Rani come there, Jeewan tells Rani he will always be there with her in any decision she takes in her life. Bindu calls Raja really changed, he isn’t ragging any fresher. Raja looks towards Rani, then stands up charged completely. He calls a first year nearby and introduces himself as Sir, he then orders the young man to sit in cock position. Rani and Jeewan dislike, Raja calls another boy, and asks him find the prettiest girl in the college and propose her. He hands her a red rose as well, Rani sat upset while
Raja comes towards Bindu. The boy kneels down in front of Rani, and reads a poetry for her. Raja turns towards him curtly and beats him hard. Rani comes to stop it, but the teacher arrives by then. She scolds Raja for showing his old colors again and proved he can never change. Rani qualifies it’s not Raja’s mistake, he proposed her. Raja accepts he told the boy for this proposal, the teacher goes to complain against him in front of Vice Principal. Raja suggests her a few punishments as well, the teacher sends Raja to detention for the time being. He will now have to spend all his time with his books. Raja turns to leave, Rani says Raja isn’t as bad as everyone consider him, he needs the right guidance. The teacher warns Rani to be sent to detention as well, and announces the punishment. Rani turns to see Raja and ask what happened, if he is afraid to spend time with her. She leaves smiling, Raja follows her.
Downstairs, Bindu was curt over Rani. The girls were worried if their fresher’s party is cancelled, Bindu calls it impossible. She will look after party arrangements by herself.
Rani was sitting with books in library, Raja sketched a girl and laugh aloud. Rani turns to him, then head down to her work. Raja writes a note, tears the paper off the book and makes a flying aero plane of it, throwing it towards Rani. He laugh as Rani was hit by it. She reads it saying, if she thought it would be a love letter. She leaves towards the book rack, Raja teases her by taking the book she kept a hand over. Rani asks if he has no problem staying close to her, why is he going away. She snatches the book and asks why he beat the boy then, he must at least not fight his emotions. Raja calls it her misunderstanding, she doesn’t matter to him at all. Rani asks really, he says no. she confirms, he nods. Rani spots a lock and key nearby and locks the library from inside. He comes inquiring what she has been doing. Rani says this is to prove he is effected by her presence, his heart doesn’t listen to his mind watching her. She swirls the key running around playfully, Raja chases her. Suddenly the key fell outside the library from the window. Raja was worried, Rani laughs hysterically while Raja was worried as no one will wander even closer to library on the first day of college. Rani laughs over the key felling over, Raja stood worried, and then he too starts laughing. All of a sudden, the lights go off. There was silence, they walk away from each other. Raja turns first, Rani follows; then get to their tables.
In the corridor, Bindu’s friends wonder when electricity will be back. Bindu insists that the party will take place at any cost. Jeewan comes to her saying Raja will never love her, Bindu says she didn’t love Raja since childhood to accept defeat from a down market Rani. She is determined to get him back at any cost.
There, Rani lights a candle and read under it. Raja walks towards the window, Rani turns around to look for him wondering he went. Raja brings a radio and tries to set its frequency murmuring she threw the keys deliberately locking him inside. All of a sudden, the radio begin to play a beautiful accident of life as song, ‘Bahir se koi andar na aa sakay’ plays. Both were moved, Rani holds her head in frustration. Suddenly, candle was going to blow off. Raja and Rani save it together.
Rani’s paper fell on floor, both Raja and Rani hit their heads, then turns away but this time Rani’s stroller was tucked in a nail that Raja helps her with. She gets upset, and requests for a single chance from Raja. He jerks her away throwing the radio breaking it on the floor. Suddenly there is a knock at the door, Raja goes to call from inside to break the door and get him out of here.
Raja’s friends take him to all the preparations done for fresher’s party, he was amused as Bindu joins him. She says each year he gives this party, but this year she will do throw the party for him. Meenu was dragging Rano towards the party, Rani spots some youngsters bending in front of Raja and recalls her first day when she had denied bending in front of anyone. Raja turns to leave, Bindu
asks him to stay for her at least.
Rani turns to leave, but Jeewan stops her holding her arm. The party begins, the announcement is made that unlike every year Rani will sing in the party. Rani denies singing any song, but the crowd begin cheering with her name. Raja turns to leave, Rani begins the song “Yeh larka Haye Allah Kesa Hai Deewana”. Rani daydreams about Raja and herself alone in the hall, while she dances around him. Bindu hugs Raja bidding her a good bye, she assures Raja that from today Rani will never come in between them. She points towards the roof where the fan was about to fell over Rani. Jeewan was also shocked watching the fan fell over Rani. Both Raja and Rani head to save Rani, Jeewan takes the lead and drags Rani towards himself. Raja leaves the party curtly. He runs into the lands away from college and kneel on the ground, shouting I love you Rani! Jeewan stood outside wondering how can Raja do this to her. Rani argues that Raja isn’t responsible, he questions why Raja was staring at the fan if he had nothing to do with it.
Bindu was in her room, Raja comes to drag her out to the terrace and bends her half down the grill. Bindu cry requesting him not to drop her, she is suffocating. Raja straightens her up, she asks if he has lost it, what if something had happened to her. Raja questions what if something had happened to her. Bindu asks if that down market girl is more important for him, Raja reminds her name is Rani.
Rani wonders why would Raja run to save her had he done this all. Jeewan is helpless, and asks how many proofs she need to understand Raja is a psycho. Rani trusted Raja and her love, he will die to save her.
Raja warns Bindu to take her life, if Rani is hurt because of her. Bindu cry that she did this for him only, Raja reminds this is his enmity and he will complete it alone, he doesn’t need anyone not even Bindu to fight for him. He turns to leave.
Raja was playing basketball to pour his frustration, he kneels on the floor shouting in rage. Jeewan comes to hold him by collar and question Raja why he has hurt Rani always, she has always forgiven him. She in one of her kind in the world, she can sacrifice for friendship what she could do for love. Anyone in the world can give a life for Rani, but he can’t. He can only torture Rani and even attempt to murder her. Raja speaks to himself, so much anger means Jeewan is in love with Rani. Jeewan begins again, asking Raja to leave Rani. At least he must drop this story right here, if he can’t complete it; so that Rani can return to another story. He push Raja to leave Rani if he doesn’t love her. Raja throws a ball on Jeewan’s head from behind, Jeewan turns in rage at him. Raja asks Jeewan if he can practically do what he is speaking about. He found Rani first, he was her first friend, she loved him and he will always be her first love. Jeewan holds the ball Raja was tapping, and accepts he came second in Rani’s life but would never leave Rani’s life. Tears fell off Raja’s eyes, Jeewan heads inside.
Rani was worried about any fight between Raja and Jeewan. She wonders why Jeewan considers Raja to be wrong always. Meena says Jeewan does this for Rani, he considers her worth more than a friend. They decide to go to palace, Rani had to go home to give Dadu medicine before. Raja and Jeewan were laughing with Raaj Mata, Raja feeds them both sweets with his own hands. Raaj Mata looked away, while Raja informs Rani he came to ask for her proposal from Raaj Mata. Tears fell off Rani’s eyes in elation, but Jeewan qualifies it’s for Raja’s younger brother, Jeewan. Raja enforces a smile, Rani shouts at them to stop. She hold Raja’s hand dragging him inside, Raaj Mata hold Jeewan behind.
