Haya is cleaning the house while the doorbell rings. Munisa answers the door and there is a army officer who came to invite Rahaat to a event. Munisa takes the invitation and says she will give it to him. The army officer then asks to meet Rahaat, but Munisa says you can’t as he isn’t here right now. Haya wonders why Munisa lied. The army officer leaves and then Munisa crumbles up the invitation and throws it in the trash. Haya goes to pick it up from the trash and Munisa looks on. Munisa then tells her that you think you know Rahaat better than me. He will never go to any function. Munisa then takes the invitation again from Haya and crumbles it and throws it in the trash can.
Ahil is driving around the city at night and is questioning the fact that he is engaged to Nida, but why can’t he accept this fact. Ahil finally pulls over and then questions himself. If he is going to marry Nida then why doesn’t he have any feelings in his heart for her. He closes his eyes and has flashback of Sanam playing in the playground at the farmhouse with the kids.
Rehaan and Sanam are sitting on the stairs at farmhouse. Rehaan says good thing Ahil reached you on time otherwise what would have happened. Sanam tells Rehaan that she is okay and to stop worrying. Rehaan doesn’t believe this and Sanam hugs Rehaan to assure him that she is alright. Ahil from far away looks at Sanam and Rehaan hugging. He is shocked to see this.
Nida is in her room. Azhar’s parents come in to her room and talk to Nida to assure her that they are on her side. They tell Nida that be careful of Tanveer as she is very clever and has her eyes all over the house. Azhar’s father then sneezes which scares Nida and causes her nail polish to drop on her feet. She gets angry and goes in to the restroom to clean up. Tanveer then knocks on the door. Azhar’s father then hides behind the sofa and Azhar’s mother stands straight while she looks worried. Tanveer then goes on to talking saying that I know that you are upset that Ahil sent you home alone and that he shouldn’t have sent you home like that. After the Nikhaa don’t worry everything will be alright. Tanveer then asks Nida not to be angry at her but to talk to her at least and extends her arm out. Nida comes out of the restroom and says “Ami”. Nida tells Tanveer that no one else was here. Tanveer then tells Nida that do not wait up for Ahil to eat dinner as she doesn’t know when he would return. Tanveer then leaves.
Haya is in Rahaat’s room putting his army uniform on his bed. Rahaat then walks in and ask Haya what is she doing with his uniform. Haya then hands him the invitation. Rahaat reads it and then throws it back on to his bed and tells Haya that he cannot go as the army was something of his past life and that it cannot be part of his current life. Haya refuses to believe that and then tells Rahaat that he is an excellent officer. Rahaat then tells Haya that his previous lover was taking her last breaths and was calling out his name and he couldn’t save her at all. Rahaat then tells that it is the duty of an army officer to save people and that if he couldn’t save his own wife how can he be part of the army.
Sanam and Rehaan finish hugging as Ahil is looking at them. Rehaan finally turnaround and sees Ahil waiting. Sanam looks at Ahil and has a shocked look on her face. Ahil crunches his knuckles together into a fist without letting others know.
Haya is inside her room tying up a yarn. She notices a paper that was slid under her door. She picks it up and it says “the function only allows couple. Will you be my partner”. Haya then opens her door and sees Rahaat standing on the other side of the hall by his room. Haya then talks to herself that she will definitely go with him.
Latif is offering Nida some breakfast, but Nida is refusing to eat anything. Latif tells Nida that Tanveer has instructed him to feed Nida something. Nida says that will Tanveer decide everything what I have to do now? Nida says that Tanveer’s words may be important to you guys, but not for her as she is to be this house’s daughter-in-law and she will do what she wants to do. Tanveer hears this and is shocked. Tanveer tell Nida not to worry as her Nikhaa is tomorrow. Nida replies back to Tanveer that she has a reason to worry that her husband to be has left her alone and hasn’t come back for the night. She has no idea where he is, what he is doing, or whom he is with. Nida then goes on saying that you don’t have any good news for me and even insults Tanveer saying that even if something happens you wouldn’t be able to see anything that is happening. Tanveer then gets a little angry but controls her temper. Azhar comes to tell Tanveer that Ahil has arrived. Ahil walks in to the house with a very sad and depressing look and right after that comes Rehaan and Sanam.
Tanveer asks Ahil where was he all day and Nida then interrupts Tanveer to hug Ahil which shocks Sanam a little and makes Tanveer angry. Nida tells Ahil that she had to come home using public transportation. Rehaan tells everyone that if Ahil hadn’t come back to look for Sanam then she wouldn’t be hear. Rehaan explains that she was stuck in the washing machine and couldn’t get out. Tanveer is shocked and asks how did this happen. Asma asks Sanam how she is? Nida then tells Asma that not to worry that these kind of things happen to servants. Nida then tells Sanam to get back to work. Sanam then replies back that for all the remaining function she will put all her hearts work in to it. Sanam then walks away and bumps her arms on to Ahil. It makes Ahil look at her even more.
At Ahil’s residence
Festivities are on in full swing, to perform the rituals of ahil’s and nida’s residence. In his room, while ahil is getting dressed and looks for his mobile, he finds it in his jeans, where he also finds the taveez that he found in the farmhouse, which had fallen off from sanam’s hands, and in instantly drawn back to memories of their intimate moments there, and then remembering rehaan hugging sanam, he tightens it up in a knot, he gets frustrated. he takes it and keeps it back in his wallet. tanveer startles him by coming and then saying that she feels very insufficient today due to her blindness, as she cant see him as a groom, and that he would actually look royal in that attire at his wedding tomorrow. Ahil is tensed. Sensing it, she asks him whats upsetting him and asks him to share it with her. ahil diverst her saying that she shouldnt ask him this again and again. he leaves. she is tensed. He comes back and apologises for being rude. Tanveer says that she knows he is very tensed. he says that he is feeling weird, and then cheers her up saying that he is looking one in a million, in the dress and attire that she chose for him. He hugs her and says that its amazing. tanveer smiles. He asks her and she too says the same,and reminds him to wear one important thing on her request and thats his smile, which is much more essential, and is indeed one in a million. he complies. ahil gets a call and excuses himself. tanveer thinks evilly that he may smile all that he can, as she wont let him smile after the marriage, when he signs off the property in her name. She says that after that, she would stop the drama of being a perfect mother and an ideal mother in law, thinking about her angst against Nida.
While all are dancing and making merry, tanveer stops them asking them to begin with the mehendi ritual, by selecting the design first. nida is frustrated. sanam gets badi bi in a wheelchair. while selecting the designs, nida finds herself distracted eyeing sanam dressed nicely. They all suggest designs, while tanveer asks them to select something sophisticated and elegant. Nida expresses her fury at them all making tanveer select the design from the one, who cant even see. tanveer is furious but makes a happy face, and says that the right is rightfully hers to select, and asks her to fulfill all dreams that she has of her marriage.
Meanwhile, rehaan calls sanam aside, saying that he got something for her, something very trivial that he saw by the side of the road. sanam is surprised and asks whats it. when he opens to reveal a gajra, she is excited, saying that she loves them and the scent of the fresh flowers and thanks him. as she dons the gajra, he eyes her overwhelmingly. She surprises him by asking him to assist her. He complies. ahil watches from a distance, and is shattered and unable to see them together. He crushes the flowers. nida finds ahil tensed like that, and is concerned. She calls out to him, asking him to come down and select the mehendi design for her. He says that he isnt interested and that he would come back after finishing an important work. Tanveer stops him saying that its his marriage, and she wants his participation in all rituals. Ahil agress, angering nida, and satisfying tanveer, at winning over her. he comes down the stairs, followed by nida. she taunts nida, by asking her how obedient is ahil. Nida is tensed. tanveer asks them to begin with the merriment. Nazia suggests something in tanveer’s ears and she starts singing and dancing along with asma. while tanveer is about to slip, sanam catches hold of her, and tanveer involves her too in dancing. Ahil watches them, as tanveer and sanam dance together, in circles. Rehaan amusingly continues watching sanam as she dances, while ahil looks at her in bewilderment. All clap, while nida doesnt like it. as all compliment sanam, nida is tensed. The ladies ask tanveer to begin the ceremony, by first putting the mehendi on nida’s hand. tanveer says that its tradition for the husband to put the first shagun of mehendi. they all search around for ahil. Asma tells tanveer that ahil is going up. tanveer is tensed. She hollers at him and asks him to come down and start the ritual. ahil says that he had told her that he doesnt want to do it. He leaves. tanveer is tensed, but asks them not to bother as she would herself get him down. she leaves for his room. Azhar’s mother asks latif and sanam to serve the guests. they comply. tanveer asks ahil why isnt he participating in all the rituals. Ahil says that he doesnt like them and that this isnt a real marriage, then why bother with all the rituals. tanveer says that this marriage cant look unreal too, as that would drain all her efforts in vain. ahil says that he agreed due to her, but not to push her any more. While tanveer tries to convince ahil with the mehendi in her hand, ahil begins to say something, but his hand accidentally collides into the mehendi bowl, and it falls from tanveer’s hand, and down the balcony, and onto the floor, and the mehendi skirts all around. tanveer asks ahil why he did this. Azhar’s mother too expresses shock that this is a bad omen. Nazia notices the mehendi on sanam’s hand, and points it out to everyone, that the mehendi which was to be Ahil’s shagun in nida’s hand now adorns Sanam’s hand. All are shocked.
At Ahil’s residence
All the ladies start saying that the mehendi adorning sanam’s hand is god’s will and that destiny wont be able to change even when nida wipes off the mehendi in disgust. She gets furious and says that these dont mean anything and reprimands them for being so traditional and orthodox. Nida takes sanam by the hand and jerks her around and starts insulting her in front of everyone, furious at what happened. She tells sanam that it cant be a coincidence that she is always there to interrupt any good thing that is supposed to happen to her, and that she isnt as innocent as she seems. she tells sanam that she still stands here despite being so badly humiliated whgile sanam is in tears. Nida tells her that she is shameless hence she would herself throw her out of the house. all are tensed. she gives her a push and asks her to get out. teary eyed, sanam eyes ahil helplessly. Ahil is very tensed seeing sanam’s condition and very disturbed at nida’s behaviour towards her.
When Ahil asks her to calm down and not make a big deal out of it, nida doesnt listen to anyone and then moves on to try and convince tanveer that sanam should be thrown out, while continuing to taunt sanam about being a servant. But tanveer expresses her faith in sanam nerver ever doing anything wrong and asks nida not to create unnecessary drama. Nida gets furious and says that now she would create darama like never before. she says that either she would stay or sanam would. all are shocked, while rehaan is disturbed and sanam is tensed. They try to talk her out of it. tanveer again approcahes her saying that she doesnt need to blow her top at sanam as she is a very nice girl. Nida shamelessly points out her inability to see and hence being incapable of judging people. Ahil gets furious and asks her to apologise to tanveer at once, while tanveer asks him to calm down. Nida finally agrees that she would apologise if they thrwo sanam out right now. Finally rehaan, who had been quiet all along, steps in and says that this house has never done anything wrong to anyone, and never let injustice happen to anyone, regardless of their stature. He says that he is in the same capacity as sanam and hence he has the fullest faith that they wont let sanam leave and do her any wrong. nida sarcastically taunts him for making a big speech, and says that they wont let it affect her demand. But all stay mum while ahil and tanveer agree to rehaan’s opinion. Nida gets aggressive and says that they can keep their beloved sanam with them, while she leaves, and announces that the mehendi is cancelled.
All are tensed and shocked. Nida leaves. tanveer tries to tell ahil. ahil stops her and says that its okay and she can leave if she wants to. He moves aside, while tanveer is tensed. ahil is disturbed at the insult that sanam had to face. rehaan comes to sanam, while she smiles at him, overwhelmed with gratitude for standing up for him. tanveer wonders what this new problem now, and that she never had to bear anyone for so long, and that she is helpless to bear nida’s tantrums, or else she would have taught nida a lesson. she thinks that she wont get the property if ahil doesnt marry and then sign off the property to her, and hence she cant let nida get away from the house now and that she wont.
