ANUPAMA UPDATE - SATURDAY 4 JUNE 2022

Kavya is lying on Vanraj’s shoulder says its been long since they had gone to a restaurant, let us go to nearby Japanese restaurant. He engrasped in thought and says yes. She says he can go home as his attention is somewhere else, she wanted to inform him about Anirudh. He ask her not to get angry as he will stay with her tonight. 

Samar help Nandini arrange furniture and ask if there is some other work? She says no and says I like you. Samar asks what did she say. She repeats and once she leave he jumps in happiness. 

Vanraj over phone informs Bapuji that he is busy at work tonight and will not come home. Bapuji informs family Anu and Baa the same. Baa yell at Anu that because of her Vanraj cannot even have proper food and if she want to stay like before serving Vanraj she can, else she go back to her mother’s house. Bapuji warn her to stop yelling at Anu. Their argument starts, and Anu try to stop their fight. Bapuji walk away a bit and fall down getting heart attack. Anu with Baa rush to him and panic seeing his condition. She ask Sweety to call Vanraj, but Vanraj is busy romancing Kavya keeping his phone in silent mode. He walk towards mobile, but Kavya says this is her time, and he get back to her. Sweety informs that papa is not picking my calls. Anu call doctor who sends his assistant. Assistant checks Bapuji and says his condition is critical and need to be moved to hospital immediately via car as ambulance would take time to come. Anu says she doesn’t know how to drive. Samar with Mamaji return just then and panics seeing Bapuji’s condition. Anu ask him to get their car. Samar says papa took car. She asks to get neighbor’s car. Anu consoles Baa and try to wake up Bapuji all the while. Samar bring neighbor’s car. They both get him to the car and rush toward hospital asking Sweety to take care of Baa and mamaji. They reach to hospital where doctor checks and informs that Bapuji suffered heart attack and need angiogram right now. Anu says she doesn’t know all that. Doctor asks her to call Vanraj. Samar try his number repeatedly. Toshu reach home and hearing about the incident rush to hospital checking for Vanraj in his office on the way. Doctor ask Anu to take a decision soon. Toshu reach and says papa is not at the office. Anu ask Samar to call Kavya, but even her phone is switched off. She asks him to keep trying. Vanraj after sometime checks his mobile and sees it's switched off.

Anupama emotionally tell doctor that Bapuji never left things undone and even while playing carrom he clears queen first. She agrees for Bapuji’s angioplasty. Doctor asks her to sign the consent form with a writing that if something happens during the operation, she will not blame doctors and herself will be solely responsible for it. Anu reminisces Bapuji’s love for her and think he fulfilled all responsibilities of a father, its his daughter’s turn now. She sign the consent form with trembling hands. 

At home, Baa panic hearing about Bapuji’s operation. Dolly says its anioplasty, heart surgery, and Anu is there to take decision. Baa says where is Vanraj, Anu doesn’t even know English, Samar and Toshu are kids, even Sanjay is not here. Dolly consoles her. 

At the hospital, Anu informs Samar and Toshu that she took decision and signed the consent form for the operation. Toshu ask how can she take decision without papa. Anu ask if his papa is present here? She is here and took her decision already. Bapuji is taken for operation. The whole family pray to God for Bapuii reminiscing their quality time spent with Bapuji. O Palan Haare..song..plays in the background. Anu pray to Ganapati Bappa that she lost her father once and not again, this time he has to defeat Bapuji’s illness. Samar run to her and informs her that surgery is done. They both rush towards OT room. Doctor inform surgery is done, but it now depends on how Hashmukh’s body responds due to old age. Toshu yell and hopes papa was here to take decision.

Vanraj wakes up, switch on his phone, and sees Samar and Toshu’s multiple calls. Door bell rings. Kavya ask him to take milk from milkman. Vanraj opens door and stands shocked seeing Anu. He smirk and ask why did she come here when she doesn’t need him, he is sure she must have asked her sons to call him. Anu says she came to call Bapuji’s son and not her husband, last night his father fell unconscious and was rushed to hospital where his angioplasty is performed. He shout who gave permission for angioplasty. She says she gave permission. He yells illiterate woman, does she even know spelling of angioplasty. Anu says she doesn’t want Bapuji’s son to be missing when he open his eyes, so he should wear his clothes and come along to hospital. He pick his clothes and rush with her. They reach hospital. Vanraj look at Bapuji and yell at Anu that if something happens to Bapuji, he will not spare her. Doctor asks him where was he, Bapuji’s condition was critical, but with Anupama’s right decision, he is out of danger now and will be conscious in some time. Vanraj calm down. Anu walks out to parking area, calls Kinjal and asks if she can help her. Kinjal says anything for her. Anu asks her to teach her how to drive car. Kinjal ask why suddenly? Anu, reminiscing last night’s event, says problems come suddenly and she wants to prepare herself to help her dear ones instead of taking their help.

PRECAP: 

Anu sticks L/learning on car. Toshu removes sticker saying Kinjal that Baa and papa will not let maa come. Anu stops him. Vanraj yells at her if she ever even touched a cycle and orders her to just cook. Anu picks car keys and says its time to take decision and not hear someone’s decisions. Anu starts car. Vanraj purposefully honk from behind and drive in front. Anu overtakes him, leaving him fuming.
