Tripathi family decorates house for Aditya’s engagement. Aparna guides maids. Aditya asks her to give him also some work. She asks him to go and meet Malini’s daadi. Nidhi says she will help Aparna, so he Aditya can go and impress Malini’s daadi. Aditya leaves. Imlie goes to paan shop. Shopkeeper asks if she came to spoil his business again. She takes bhang seeds from him to make bhang prasad for Shiv pooja and walks away asking him to note down in Bade papa’s account. She returns home and performs Shivling’s pooja in lawn. Aaprna and her team walk in and look at her. She asks why are they staring at her. They say she can perform pooja in home temple. She says this pooja should be performed in lawn and they all should join her. They all agree. She dances and offers them Bholenath’s bhang prasad. They all hesitate at first, but then drink it on her insistence.
Aditya reaches Malini’s house. Daadi performs his and Malini’s aarti. Anu walks in, and Aditya touches her feet. She stops him and says she already told him to touch her feet only after marriage. He says he forgot that she blesses seeing a person’s status, he means marital status. Daadi asks Aditya to sit and tells Malini that she doesn’t know how Aditya behaves wit her, but he is perfect to become Anu’a damad/son-in-law. Anu starts insulting Aditya and asks about his education, in which convent did he study. Aditya says government school. She says that is why he didn’t become doctor or engineer. He says one studies for years to become a doctor, he dreamt of becoming a journalist and after 7 years of hard work is becoming Anu’s damad, so both his goals are met. She asks about his salary and increments. He says elders discuss about financial issues in his family, so she should ask his parents. Malini says when she didn’t question Aditya in 7 years, then why is she questiioning. Anu says he is diverting the question as his salary is not high, she will transfer money in his account every month. Daadi stops her. Anu says Aditya’s family is so middle class that they denied performing engagement in a 5 star banquet hall and kept it at their home, she called very few guests as they cannot handle her guests. Aditya says if she has doubt about arrangements, she can accompany him to his house and check herself. Anu agrees.
Tripathi family gets inebriated after drinking bhang prasad and dance with Imlie on Jai Jai Shiva Shankar..song. Aditya walks in with Anu, Malini, and Dev and stands fuming in anger. Malini frowns seeing Tripathi family’s buffoonery. Aparna greets her and asks how did they come to her house. Rupali says its their house. Aparna greets Anu in their house. Anu asks Aditya if her family makes arrangements in this way, but her guests are not habituated to it, so she wants engagement function at her house and that is final as she doesn’t want to be embarrassed in front of her guests; this house and family doesn’t look to be fit for engagement, she will leave as she has to make arrangements in short notice and walks away with Dev. Adity asks Malini to go and angrily looks at family.
Satyakam walks to Dulari mausi who is in temple and pointing at her saying god will also not forgive her for her sins. Dulari cries that she is his aunt and like her mother. Satyakam says he will kill her for ruining Imlie’s life and shoots, but Mithi push his hand away and protects Dulari saying she will not let him kill her amma, gives god’s and village’s promise. Satyakam doesn’t agree. She gives Imlie’s promise. He stops and tells Dulari that she ruined Imlie’s life, but Imlie’s promise saved her. Dulari runs away from there. Tripathi gets into their senses and asks Aditya when did he come. Aditya informs that his engagement is in Malini’s house. Family asks how is it possible. Aditya says Anu saw all their drama and insulted him because of them. Imlie hides behind family. Aditya calls her and says because of her, he lost his hard earned dignity and asks her to pack her bags and return to Pagdandiya. Imlie gets tensed. Satyakam tells Mithi that he can see her worried for Imlie, so he will take her to Delhi to meet Imlie.
Aditya scolds Imlie that he had earned respect with hard work, but she ruined it. He orders her to pack her bag and return to Pagdandiya. Pankaj says he is doing the same mistake which they did. Aparna says he lost their self-control and even he is. Pankaj says they lost their self-control under inebriation, but he is in anger. Badimaa, Dhruv, and Nidhi ask him to punish them for their mistake mistake instead. He says they did a mistake unknowingly after Imlie fed them bhang mixed milk, so she cannot stay in this house. Aparna says she is a mid, where will she go; he brought her here, but letting her stay here is their decision. Aditya says with her pampering, Imlie forgot her place, she can give her some money and send her away. Imlie says mistakes are forgiven, but sins are punished; she made a sin and will not let them punished, so she will leave this house. Aparna asks Aditya if he will send Imlie away before his engagement tomorrow. Aditya says after his engagement tomorrow, Imlie will leave for Pagdandiya.
Mithi tries to draw rangoli. Satyakam tells Mithi that he remembers she met city man on shiv poornima; he couldn’t save her then and now from city man’s memories. Mithi says she is drawing rangoli for Imlie in her memory. He says Imlie draws best rangoli. She says Imlie got this talent from her father. He says he has sent his men to search Aditya’s home and office address and will take her to Delhi to meet Imlie. Mithi thinks if Imlie drew rangoli on shiv poornima today. Imlie wipes rangoli and prays god not to let her make sins again.
Malini returns home with his parents and tells Anu that she insulted Aditya first in her husband and then insulted him and his family in their house, she knows Aditya’s family well and first them saw them in that condition, she didn’t even let her to ask what happened to them. Anu says they were heavily inebriated and were not in talking terms. Malini says Anu doesn’t like Aditya and his family from before and got a reason to speak now, she should understands that Adityas’s family is my future family, etc. Anu says fine, she will not utter a word again.
Aditya’s family call vendors and cancel all the bookings made for engagement. Badimaa says Malini’s mother never wanted to have wedding in our house and got a reason now, they are from boy’s family and their wish should be respected. Everyone laughs. She says she is not joking. Aparna says they should understand how difficult is to send a daughter to someone’s house forever, Anu is getting her only daughter married, so she is tensed and spoke bitter and they shouldn’t bother about it. Pankaj says their daughter is a biggest problem now who wants to send off Imlie from here in anger. Aparna says Adi is very angry now and will not change decision. Malini over phone apologizes Aditya for whatever happened today. He says its not her mistake and shouldn’t worry. Servants bring her dinner and inform that Anu madam asked to return only after she finishes dinner. Malini says she is not hungry. Aditya requests her to have something and jokingly asks if she is dieting for wedding. She says she is and will double her size after wedding, then it would be difficult for him to handle her. He asks if he should prepare something and bring it to her as she thinks he can’t be romantic. She says he doesn’t know anything than preparing 2 minute noodle. He says she doesn’t know his secrets. She asks what did he hide. He reminisces marrying Imlie and says just wait and watch. He then walks into kitchen and searches ingredients. Imlie hearing sound thinks a cat invaded and walks into kitchen, sees Aditya and asks what is he doing here. He says he is preparing food for Malini as she didn’t have anything since morning and he promised to cook something for her. She asks him to cut salad and take out pickles while she prepares roti. Aditya asks if its same thick roti she prepared for him. She nods yes and packs tiffin. He takes it to Malini and she gets impressed seeing Roti, pickle, and salad. He asks if she didn’t like roti, he likes it a lot a and Imli prepared it. She says she thought he prepared it. He says cut salad and packed pickle, then gets angry on Imlie that she fed bhang milk to his family and because of her his family was insulted. Malini says what she heard is Imlie is a sensible girl and gets along well with everyone, even she is ager to get along her after marriage. Aditya says Imlie is going back to Pagdandiya and one shouldn’t befriend strangers so much that it hurts family when they leave.
At home, Bade papa teaches Algebra to Imlie with Nidhi feeds children. Aparna asks them to get ready for engagement and Badimaa gives Imlie dress and asks her to get ready soon. Aditya says she will go with them after calling Dev as thief and all the other drama. Arpna says Dev himself asked to bring Imlie. Imlie says she doesn’t have mood, so they can go. Family insists; Pankaj says she is afraid of Aditya, but its his father’s order, so she should get ready soon and accompany them.
Precap: Imlie searches her father. Women trafficking gang kidnaps her. Anu tells Aparna that Aditya did whatever he wanted to, its her turn now and she breaks this engagement.
