Rudra and Saransh are busy playing video game when Preesha walks to them thinking of informing Rudra about Sharda and asks Saransh to go and finish his homework. Rudra asks Saransh if he finished homework, he can continue praying. Saransh continues playing game. Preesha tries to divert his attention, but Rudra doesn’t let Saransh go. Preesha sits aside, falls asleep and snores. Saransh says mumma fell asleep as Rudra didn’t let him go and insists Rudra to lift mamma and take her to room. Rudra lifts Preesha and walks towards her room reminiscing their romantic moments. Thodi jagah dede mukjhe…song..plays in the background. He takes her room when Saransh sees Yuvraj’s call on her mobile. Rudra drops her down. She writhes in pain and asks what happened. Saransh explains what happened and asks why did he drop mamma down. Rudra says he slipped and anyways its good that she woke up as she can speak to her boyfriend now. Preesha asks Saransh to sleep and thinks when will Yuvraj stop stalking her.
The next morning, Preesha goes for breakfast and asks Balraj about Sharda. Balraj says he doesn’t know, maybe she is in her room. Preesha realizes she missed her mobile in room and walks towards it when she hears someone crying in Sharda’s room and walks in. She is shocked to see Sharda crying and panicking. Sharda says her DNA sample will match with the one found in tissue sample of Kirti Jain’s nails as she was present on the terrace with Kirti, but she didn’t push her down and Kirti herself slipped and fell down. She goes into flashback where inebriated Kirti calls her from terrace to take revenge. She walk to terrace and asks why did she call her. Kirti reveals that she is Kittu, her friend Kusum’s daughter. Sharda gets emotional hearing that. Kirti says Sharda killed her mother as her mother was found dead after Sharda left her mother’s room. Sharda reminisces the incident where she goes to meet her terminally ill friend Kusum. Small Kirti greets her and goes to get tea for her. Kusum requests Sharda to switch off her life support machine as she cannot bear the pain anymore. Sharda walk away seeing she cannot. She sees Harish and says Kusum wants to switch off machine, but she can not, he should go and calm her down. She walks to Kirti who is preparing tea and asks her to wait, but she walks away pampering her. Harish walks to Kusum who requests him to free her from her pain. He sees her bleeding and goes to call nurse, but she pleads to stop and free her now. Harish unable to see her pain pulls off the life support monitor plug. Kirti walks into Kusum’s room with tea and finds her death. She sees Sharda getting into car and thinks she killed her mother. Out of flashback, Kirti continues blaming Sharda for killing her mother. Sharda says she didn’t kill her mother and explains what happened that night. Sharda tries to explain to Kirti that her father must have pulled off her mother’s life support machine plug unable to see her pain. Kirti says she is lying and will get punishment of her death if not her mother’s. She tries to jump from terrace. Sharda tries to stop her, but Kirti overpowers her and pulling her away falls down laughing at her. Sharda holds her hand and tries to pull her up, but Kirti scratches her hand and falls down. She panics and thinks of informing police. Out of flashback, she tells Preesha that she tried to save Kirti, but she forcefully fell down and killed herself; she called police as unanimous called, but didn’t know Rudra will be accuse wrong. She relaxed seeing Preesha saving Rudra and reminisces the incident. She further says her skin tissue got into Kirti’s nails when she scratched her and her earring was left in Kirti’s hand, she had gone to hospital to get her ear stitched when Preesha saw her; now her DNA sample will match with the one in Kirti’s nails and police will arrest her. Preesha says if she goes to forensic lab and changes DNA sample with someone unknown person’s, Sharda won’t be caught. Sharda tries to stop her, but she leaves. Sharda then rushes to Rudra and requests him to stop Preesha from going to forensic lab and change DNA sample, else they will be in trouble. Rudra asks her to tell exactly what happened. She explains him whole incident. Rudra rushes behind Preesha in his car thinking he will stop her.

In the hospital, Rahul requests Neerja to wake for his and their child’s sake and promises that he will repent for his sins and reunite Preesha and Rudra after confessing his sins with Rudra. Yuvraj hears him. Rahul goes out to call Rudra. Yuvraj alters Neerja’s life support monitor after a long blabbering and informs Rahul that Neerja’s condition is worsening. Rahul rushes to Neerja and calls doctors. Doctors get tensed seeing Neerja’s condition and asks him to go out. Preesha’s car gets stuck in traffic. Rahul calls her and requests to come and save Neerja as her condition is worsening. Preesha says she can not now. He pleads that Neerja will die. She agrees. Rudra reaches hospital and not seeing Preesha there thinks she hasn’t come there yet and he will change maa’s DNA sample.
Precap: Preesha tries to revive Neerja, but she passes away. Rudra disguised aas lab tech tells another lab tech that there is no need to match Preesha and Saransh’s DNA samples as Preesha is not Saransh’s biological mother. Rudra and Preesha enter the lab and manage to change the DNA sample. Later, police come to Khurana home to arrest Sharda. Rudra and Preesha are shocked when police says Sharda’s sample has matched.
