Anupama warns Rakhi that she was quiet till now as a mother was speaking, she can understand how Rakhi is feeling hearing about Kinjal’s troubles, but nobody did it intentionally and it was situational instead. She promises that it will not be repeated and Kinjal won’t face any problem, she will take good care of her daughter. Rakhi laughs and says if she had considered Kinjal as her daughter, Kinjal wouldn’t have been in this condition. Baa says nothing happened to Kinjal and what is wrong if they gave her some work, Anu’s mother was ill and Jhilmil is on leave, the whole family is helping each other, what is wrong if Kinjal also help? She agrees that she made a mistake by scolding Kinjal, but what is wrong if she scolds her as an elder? Rakhi shouts if she had informed her, she would have sent 10 servants. Baa says she didn’t know that there would be so much issue if she asked Kinjal to do a few chores. Kinjal says its not a question of work but an issue of comparison. Rakhi says she should be thankful that she got a well-educated bahu who is preparing rotis. Baa ask if preparing rotis is bad? Rakhi says a working woman can not do household chores and there is a maid for that. Baa asks what if maid takes leaves, if working woman’s children should starve; nobody becomes a servant by preparing rotis, she realized that its wrong if a MIL considers her DIL’s work as small and even they should understand that we are not beggars to save servant’s salary, there is problem as Jhimil is on leave. Samar backs Baa and says she is right, even he peels vegetables and cleans furniture and he is proud of himself, he feels everyone should help in household chores; he tells Kinjal that nobody forced her to work, so she shouldn’t have created an issue. Pakhi says she never asked her to prepare coffee and she herself prepared it, in fact Bapuji helped her once. She asks Kinjal to speak. Rakhi yells she is mannerless and shouts to stop targeting her daughter instead of Anu, they all are attacking Kinjal just because Anu is questioned. Samar says she is crossing her limits Anu asks him to stop. Vanraj says Samar is right. Kavya ask him not to interfere. He asks her to shut up. Baa says all the problem is because of maide ki katori who set this fire. Rakhi says fire can be increased externally but can be set only internally, so all this happened because of Anu. Toshu asks what is she speaking. Rakhi says she is speaking better than him and not hiding behind his mother’s pallu. Kinjal asks him not to interfere. Vanraj asks why shouldn’t he interfere as he stays in the same house. Kavya says this wouldn;t have happened if Anu had not sent the maid out. Baa says she brought an arrogant maid like her, so kicking her out was obvious; nobody forced Kinjal to work on a gun point. Kinjal says she doesn’t have problem working but problem with comparison. Rakhi yells again they are all targeting her daughter. Pakhi asks Kinjal to explain to her mother. Kinjal asks her not to interfere. Samar says she and Kavya want everyone to shut up and speaking continuously without letting anyone speak. Argument continues. Rakhi shout her daughter working in kitchen is wrong, Baa scolding her and comparing her with Anu is wrong, everyone attacking Kinjal at once is wrong, etc. Anu asks her to stop as Baa, Kinjal, herself and everyone are wrong. Rakhi thinks her drama of greatness started again. Anu says everyone feel others are wrong, but getting adamant is wrong, not understanding other’s view is wrong, exaggerating the issue is wrong; differences happen in family; each family member’s view is different and family need both elders and youngsters and they should walk holding each other’s hand to move ahead in life; so she wants this issue to end here right now. She asks Kinjal to forget whatever happened today and concentrate on her office work as she will handle the whole house, she will keep her promise made to her on the first day, nobody will disturb her, she should just remember that she shouldn’t argue with elders. She apologize to her for whatever happened today and promises that she will not make her another Anupama at any cost. She then walks to her room reminiscing the incidents that happened today.
Vanraj returns to his room fuming on Rakhi’s drama and scolds Kavya that she should have helped Kinjal instead of setting fire, she is a bahu now and not a guest anymore. Kavya says he is shouting at her like he used to on Anu, his family hasn’t considered her as their bahu yet and will not accept whatever she does. He asks if she will not work at all. She says she will when there is time for that, for the time being she is busy in her office project. He says only herself and her job matter to her. She asks why he taunts her always. He says he is not and can not expect anything from her, anyways Anupama will set everything right. She yells he always finds a chance to praise Anu. He says he wants to praise even her, she should prove to be a good bahu to his parents, there is no problem in the house except her and Rakhi. She says he blames her for everything. he says it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t wash utensils, but she shouldn’t strike them. She thinks he will blame her even for global warning and smirks thinking seeing Kinjal’s changed behavior, Anu must be in shock.
Baa asks Anu not to wake up at 4 a.m. and prepare tiffin for Kinjal as Kinjal argued with her; she knows she is wrong, but she never argued with her MIL once; Kinjal shouldn’t have called her mother. Anu says Kinjal did wrong, but as elders, they should forgive her like they forgive their daughter Pakhi when she argues with them. Baa says her days were manual days where she had to work really hard, but with automation, everything became easy and a distance developed instead; Kinjal did wrong by involving her mother. Anu says Kinjal will never do that, she doesn’t know who did that, Kinjal is a very sensitive girl and will understand soon. She says even Baa got adamant, she shouldn’t have made an issue if Kinjal cooked rice in microwave instead of cooker. Baa says even Bapuji said same. Anu remind her of how she hated chowmein at first and now loves it. Baa says changes should happen from both sides and not just one. Anu thinks she needs to clear the differences between Baa and Kinjal.
Anupama sends milk for Kinjal via Samar. Kinjal asks if he also came to give her gyaan/knowledge. He says if he can, he will post a board that nobody should share gyaan in this house; he feeds her milk and leaves wishing her good night. Anu says Kinjal must be hungry, youngsters starve in anger, she will prepare Kinjal’s favorite breakfast in the morning. Once she leaves, Bapuji walks in. Samar tells him that there shouldn’t have been a fight between bhabhi and mummy. Bapuji says he need not worry as they love each other a lot and will reconcile soon.
The next morning, Anu serves breakfast to Baa, Bapuji, Samar, and Pakhi and asks about Kinjal and Toshu. Baa says Toshu went to office early. Kinjal walks in ready for office and ignores Anu. Anu serves her roti. She gets a call from office and tells Kavya that they need to go right now. Kavya says she finished her breakfast, so even Kinjal should. Kinjal says they don’t have time. Anu spreads jam roll and asks Pakhi to give it to Kinjal. Kinjal says she is very nervous and can not have it and leaves with Kavya. Kavya smirk at Anu. Anu cry saying her daughter left home hungry. In car, Kavya tells Kinjal that they both should have dinner in a restaurant tonight and invite even Rakhi. Kinjal says she is not in the mood. Kavya says she shouldn’t bother about Baa and Anu as they didn’t even speak to her during breakfast. Kinjal agrees.
In the evening, Anu returns home from school and thinks she didn’t have medicine today. She sees family sitting outside tensed and asks what happened? Baa says Kinju baby hasn’t returned home yet and her phone is switched off. Anu says they should have checked her office. Vanraj says he called office and both Kavya and Kinjal left early. Baa says she should have called at least, youngster don’t know how parents feel when kids don’t return home on time. Kavya with Kinjal returns home laughing and seeing family outside asks why are they standing outside? Vanraj asks why are their phones switched off and why didn’t they inform family that they will be late? Kavya says even Toshu and Vanraj used to come late. Vanraj says he used to inform family whenever he was late. Kavya asks what is wrong if she took Kinjal for dinner to cheer her up, she can become a good MIL at least if not a good DIL in Anu’s presence? Baa says forget a good MIL or DIL, it would be a miracle if she becomes a good human. Anu says they both can go anywhere they want, but should inform family at least; she tells Kinjal that the whole family was worried for her, Baa and Bapuji are still hungry and haven’t had their medicines yet. She says she didn’t ask anyone to be hungry and why they make an issue about food? Vanraj says she is over reacting. Kinjal says what is wrong if she comes home late, even mummy came home late. Samar says mummy had already informed us that she is going to hospital. She says Toshu will be coming late, so she went out for dinner, what problem they have if she enjoys for just one day. Kinjal taunts family that she will surely inform them next time and walk in. Kavya provokes Kinjal that family has issue if she enjoys life for 2-3 hours, there is no difference between an ideal DIL and a doormat, Anupama didn’t gain anything being an ideal DIL, she lives on her terms and enjoys life even if she is considered as a bad DIL. Kinjal leaves wishing her good night and thanking her for the treat. Kavya thinks she enjoyed a lot in a small treat more than a big party.
Pakhi tells family that its just a question of 1-2 days. Baa says its a serious issue, a small loose thread can shatter a sweater. Bapuji says he didn’t know issue would exaggerate so much, Kinjal was never like this. Samar says let us go in and have food. Vanraj tells Anu that this house is broken because of him and hence she shouldn’t let it break more and handle Kinjal and not let her become like Kavya. Kavya taunts him from balcony. Vanraj says if he shouldn’t talk at all. She walk down and says she knows Anu fills his ears against her. Anu says its Kavya’s job and not hers; she doesn’t say anything doesn’t mean she can not see what Kavya is up to; Kavya and Kinjal can go wherever they want to, but Kavya should remember that Kinjal is her daughter and they both love and fight, Kavya shouldn’t try to spread hatred between them as she will fill the gap with her love how much ever Kavya try her best; she can share her love for Baa, Bapuji, and children with her, but if she try to provoke them against her, she will not let that happen. Kavya asks is it. She says yes and leaves. Vanraj says Anu told her everything, but since she doesn’t understand Anu, he will repeat that she should stop her drama and try to separate Anu from Kinjal. Kavya says she didn’t do anything, he didn’t realize that Anu is trying to make everyone dance to her tunes, she is just trying to be a good friends to Kinjal. He says what can be expected from a person whose friends are like Kavya?
Samar informs Nandini what happened at home. Nandini is shocked. He says Anu and Kinjal love each other like a daughter and mother and doesn’t want to see their bond break. She says Kavya is provoking Kinjal against Anu. He says mummy says they shouldn’t get provoked by evil people. She says she will not fall in Kavya’s trap or misbehave with Anu, he should scold her if she does so. He asks if she is sure. She messages him and says its her confirmation and if he doesn’t stop her, she will not spare her. He hug her emotionally and pray to god that mummy and bhabhi’s bond should become like before. Anu gets sad looking at her and Kinjal’s photo and reminiscing their happier days. Serial’s title track plays in the background.

Kavya asks to inform how much she should contribute in monthly expenses. Baa asks if she was not happy dividing the house that she is diving expenses. Anu tells Vanraj she spoke about his monthly contribution from next month not to degrade him. He says he knows, he is understanding her since he separated from her. Kavya tells Vanraj that they need to save money for their and their child’s future. Vanraj in shock asks kid?
