Vanraj tells Anupama that a father should never differentiate between his children, but he did and favored Toshu and Toshu forced him to raise hands. He asks when Samar has gone on Anu, why didn’t Toshu go on her. Anu says if Toshu had gone on her, he would have respected elders and wouldn’t have demanded to leave the house. He asks why he is adamant to leave the house. She says when a less adamant person gets adamant, he will not understand. He says they shouldn’t let him go. She says if they force Toshu to stay back, this house will look like a cage for him and one who leaves nest will return and not cage. He says how will he tolerate the pain. She says they should tolerate the pain and learn to stay without their son, Baa and Bapuji will be in pain, and though Samar and Sweety fight with Toshu, they will not like him go. Pakhi hugs Toshu and pleads him not to leave. Samar also hugs him and apologizing him on behalf of himself and family pleads not to go. Toshu walks away saying let him go. They both think this time bhai will not listen to them. Anu says Toshu and Kinjal will not go smiling, but they should see off them smilingly as they are the link between past and future generation. He says she is right and they have to handle the family. She says even each other.
Kinjal is cryingly tells Nandini that she doesn’t want to go away from the family as she always dreamt of staying with a family and hence married Toshu as one of the reasons, but now feels her dream will shatter.
Vanraj and Anu walk into Pakhi’s room and see her sleeping with her trophy. They ask her if this is her new teddy and say they came to discuss about an important issue, parents and teenage children’s issue; they both should adjust from their side; children think parents are not giving them space, hence they will try to give her the desired space, but she shouldn’t misuse it; they will tolerate her mischiefs but not her arrogance and misbehavior. Pakhi remembers misbehaving with Anu. Anu says if there was some other mother in her place, she would have stamped Gujrat’s map on her face, and now that her competition is over, she will not tolerate her misbehavior. Vanraj says even he will not tolerate her misbehavior and will send her to hostel. She says she doesn’t want to stay in a hostel. Anu says her behavior will decide it. They both walk away asking her to sleep now. Pakhi feels guilty and thinks she hates herself, she is bothered about friend’s reaction but didn’t bother about family’s reaction. She writes a sticky note that parents are blessings and not a dustbin. Vanraj and Anu think they need to handle Toshu and their 20 lakhs tax bill now, but they will. They smile at each other and walk to their rooms.
The next morning, Baa and Bapuji find a poem and read it that kids are pure hearted and should be forgiven. Anu serves them tea and asks how is the poem. Baa says its lame and recites her written poem for herself and Bapuji. Anu says its not better than hers. Mamaji jokes. Baa asks if Toshu will leave the house today. Anu says they will see them off with smile. Toshu and Kinjal walk out with their bags. Meri Sanson Me Tu Hai Samaya.. song plays in the background. Anu stops them and performs their aarti. Vanraj joins her and feeds them sweet. Toshu and Kinjal take Baa, Bapuji, and Mamaji’s blessings. Kavya wishes them all the best for a new a a better life. They then take Anu and Vanraj’s blessings. Anu asks them to take care of each other, be happy, and have food on time. Toshu nods yes and says bye. Vanraj says if they feel like meeting them, they should come. Toshu walks towards door. Kinjal stops and says bye Toshu. Toshu stands in a shock. Pakhi asks if Kinjal is not going. Kinjal says she would have left house, but cannot leave the family as she has to pack her memories along with stuff and needs time for that. Toshu asks not to do that. She says until she makes up her mind, she cannot accompany him. Bapuji says they both should go out or stay here until they make up their mind. Toshu says he cannot stay here. Kinjal says she cannot go out of here.
Kinjal decides to stay back with family and not go with Toshu. Anupama requests them not to do separate wherever they stay. Vanraj, Samar, and Baa say same. Bapuji says she is Toshu’s wife first and then their bahu. Kinjal says bye Toshu. Toshu asks if she chose family instead of love. Kinjal says she needs both. Toshu says if she means him leaving the house is wrong. She says leaving like this is wrong. He says let him see if she really loves him or not and walks away holding his bag. Anu cries saying her children separated. Samar tries to console her. Kavya gets a message and shouts what the hell. Vanraj asks what happened. She says she gave such a nice interview, even then she didn’t get a job. Vanraj asks her to relax as she will find another job. She taunts like he got the job till now and says their family is haunted by an evil eye/nazar, hence they should perform graha shanti pooja. Baa says she is right.
Vanraj walks to Kinjal and head massages her to calm her down. She cries. He says he didn’t come to explain her or criticize her decision as she must have thought well before taking the decision; they just want her and Toshu to live together happily wherever they stay; their middle class society have a perception that modern and rich bahu is a home breaker and village bahu is home builder, but Kinjal changed the perception and kept the family above her own marital life; they are so blessed to have her; they are happy that she is with family, but the price is her happiness, they don’t need it as her happiness is most important to her. Kinjal says even mummy is sacrificing and staying here as its more difficult to stay with Kavya here. He asks if she will go to office today or not. She says she will in some time. He asks her to come down to have a coffee with him. She thinks as mummy said, everything will be alright.
Vanraj walks to Anu. Anu asks if he did Kinjal’s head message. He nods yes. She says its wrong that only mother can console children, even father can. He says a father has just a guest appearance in children’s life, even he did same and hopes he shouldn’t have do that. Anu says he did right by consoling Kinjal. He says 2 more tasks are included for them in their to do list, to bring back Toshu and clear the differences between Toshu and Kinjal. Anu asks to call Toshu and find out if he reached. He picks call and hears Rakhi’s voice message and fast forwards it. Samar excitedly walks to Anu and informs that his friend’s uncle works in a bank and offers loans to start up companies like their cafe and dance academy. Anu and Vanraj hope they get the loan to repay their pending property tax.
Kavya walks to Kinjal and says she felt bad seeing whatever happened between her and Toshu. Kinjal asks what is her problem. Pakhi says she is feeling good though. Kinjal asks if she is feeling good? Kavya thinks her plan backfired and requests her to speak to her boss Dholakia regarding her job. Kinjal says she will not seek favor and walks away. Kavya yells blood hell, now a days bahus/DILs don’t care for saas/MILs. Baa hearing her asks her to prepare tea for her. Kavya says she will not. Baa repeats Kavya’s dialogue. Baa says yes and asks her to stop troubling Kinjal at least for today. Kavya says an earning member Toshu left the house and soon Kinjal will leave, so she needs to find a job. Baa asks not to pester Kinjal as she is already in emotional turmoil. Kavya says she was just packing Kinjal’s tiffin and asks Baa to pack her tiffin. Baa asks if she will go to terrace to finish her tiffin, she will when she will go to job.
Anu reaches dance academy asks Vanraj not to worry as they will find a solution to their problems soon. He says he spoke to Toshu and he didn’t seem happy. Anu says he will get normal once Kinjal returns to him and where there is love, there is a way. He nods okay and gets into his cafe. Anu enters dance academy and thinks everything will be alright soon. She switches on radio and plays Kisi Ki Muskurahaton se.. song. RJ promotes Ajay Devgan’s Bhuj film. She calls RJ who connects her to Ajay. She nervously picks call and he promotes his film. They talk video call selfie and disconnect call. Anu jumps in happiness. She then gets bank’s call where bank manager informs that her loan can be approved is she mortgages her karkhana/factory as a collateral. Anu says she will inform her by evening.
Precap: Anu gets worried for Kinjal when she doesn’t return home even at 10:30 p.m. Boss Dholakia tries to s*xually harass her. Vanraj and Anu walk out of house to bring her home when she walks out of cab crying and hugs Anu. Kinjal informs family that she left her project and office. Kavya says Dholakia selected her as project head. Anu asks Kinjal if Dholakia did something. Kinjal says he used to lustfully eye on her. Anu determines to teach Dholakia a lesson.
