Imlie holding Dev’s hand and bring him to family for Malini’s bidayi. Malini rush towards Dev emotionally, and Dev leaving Imlie’s hand hug Malini, giving her hand with Aditya’s says she is not only his daugther but best friend, she is his wealth and Adi should preserve it carefull and never hurt her. Adi asks not to worry as he is afraid of Mrs. Chaturvedi/Anu and will never hurt Malini. Anu smiles and says he can call her mummy from hereon. Aparna assures Anu that she is taking home her daughter and not daughter-in-law and will take care of her like a daughter. Imlie thinks Malini’s mother is nearby and she can meet her mother anytime, but her mother went far away and she cannot meet her now.
Mithi in a hotel room cry reminiscing Imlie’s words and tells Satyakam that she was Imlie’s life before, but now she ransacked her forever. Satyakam says she should be happy seeing Imlie happy in her sasural, though she asked them to leave; thinks what is Imlie hiding from him?
Tripathi family returns home and Aparna performs Malini’s graha pravesh. Malini slips, and Imlie holds her. She thank Imlie for saving her from embarrassment. Everyone walk in. Pankaj asks Imlie to get in soon to watch ring searching ceremony. Imlie think ring is lost and start drama. Pankaj says its a ritual. Nidhi brings a big utensil, and Aparna asks Sundar to bring milk from fridge. Sundar says its finished. Rupali asks to get milk powder. Imlie hearing that creates drama and insists to get real milk. Pankaj asks where will she find milk at this time. Dhruv says there is a cow shed/tabela nearby and takes Imlie there with Pankaj and Sundar. Imlie milks cow with a lot of drama and teaches them how to milk. They return home with milk. Malini and Adi’s ring searching ceremony starts. Nidhi says now they will see who loves more. They both start searching for the ring. Imlie feels sad seeing that. They find ring together. Badimaa says they have strong love between them and a third person cannot come between them. Imlie get more sad hearing that and seeing Adi and Malini’s love.
On the other side, Anu gets worried that Malini didn’t call her yet as she used to call her whenever she reach her destination. Daadi and Dev says she shouldn’t disturb Malini as she is married now. Anu says she has first right on Malini and will call her right now. Dev stop her.
At Tripathi house, each family member gives gifts to Malini. Badimaa gifts her jewelry, Bade papa his pen which he got after his 40 year service, Aparna give her favorite perfume which Pankaj gifted her, Nidhi a makeup kit, Aparna a good advice, and children greeting card. They all rejoice. Imlie brings tea for them. Pankaj asks Imlie what will she gift new bahu. Malini says already Imlie gave her mehandi, chunri, and sindhoor, reminiscing the events, and asks Imlie if she will give her advice whenever she needs it as she knows everything. Imlie says she knows to ward off mosquitoes and much more. Dhruv jokes that Imlie wants to send Malini out of the house. Adi returns. Rupali jokes that Imlie wants to send Malini out of the house. Imlie says she never said that and really doesn’t want to. Aparna says they are joking. Imlie angrily takes their tea cups away. Adi asks everyone to rest and let Malini rest for sometime. They all taunt him. Anu calls Adi and asks why is Malini not picking her call. He gives phone to Malini. Family leaves saying they need to make arrangements for muh dikhayi ritual and Dhruv takes Adi away saying he can not be with Malini until ritual is completes. Anu call Malini and asks why didn’t she call her? Malini says she got busy in rituals. Anu asks her to rest and let others make arrangements. Malini says its a small ritual and she will rest after that. Anu sadly says there are many people there to take care of Malini and she doesn’t need her mother now. Malini asks not to say that.
Imlie while peeling peas in the kitchen sings a song and throws peas at Sundar. Their nok jhok starts, and Imlie runs behind him holding knife. Badimaa enter, and they both stop. She ask them to make tonight’s muh dikayi arrangement and bring items for the rituals. They both walk away continuing their nok jhok. Aparna enters. Badi maa says still catering and Malini’s makeup artist have not come. Aparna asks her to rest as caterer has come and makeup artist will come soon. Aditya sees Malini crying and ask the reason. Malini says she just spoke to mom and felt how lonely mom was feeling without her; everyone misunderstand mom’s anger, but she vents out her pain via it; he knows mom and dad don’t get along well, so she doesn’t want them to hide anything between them and discuss every small issue and sort it out. Adi reminisce Malini collapsing after hearing about his and Imlie’s wedding think he can not reveal it again to her. He console her. Nidhi and Parul with beautician walk in and joke they didn’t see anything, they didn’t know that Adi can be so romantic and will find out via Malini when did they meet and how did boring Adi become so romantic. Adi shyingly walk away.
Mithi with Satyakam returns to Pagdandiya. Sarpanch asks them if Imlie is fine as he is still feeling guilty after forcefully getting her married to city man, he will feel relaxed if he hears Imlie is happy. Back in the kitchen, Sundar prepares nazar battu to ward off Malini and Adi’s nazar. Imlie starts her nok jhok and says she will perform nazar in Pagdandiya style. Beatician does Malini’s makeup and says she has magic in her hands and will make Malini look more beautiful. Malini says she has to look beautiful with Tripathi family. They see smoke hovering all around and walk out coughing. Family also walk to living room coughing and discuss where the smoke is coming from. Imlie enter holding smoker and blabbering om nazar utaram and says she is warding off nazar/evil eyes. Beautician walk out coughing with Rupal, Malini, and Nidhi and says she can not tolerate smoke. They rush her out of the house. Adi walk in next, and before he could scold Imlie, she sits in cock’s position/murga as punishment. Malini try to stop her in vain. Pankaj says she will not listen and walks away laughing and warning Imlie to finish her punishment. Sundar enters and jokes with Imlie and their nok jhok starts again. Badimaa tells Aparna that beautician cough stopped, but Nidhi and Rupal took her to doctor. Aparna asks who will do Malini’s makeup now. Malini says she will do her makeup herself. Aparna says she had one chance to do something for her daughter inlaw, but failed. Badimaa says she has one idea and call Imlie. Aparna insists Imlie to do Malini’s makeup like she applied mehandi. Imlie nervously says she doesn’t want to do mistake again like in mehandi. They both insist. Malini reminds Imlie about her promise to help her always. Imlie agrees and try doing makeup thinking they trust her blindly and gave her responsibility on first day of marriage. Malini says Imlie can leave if she doesn’t want to, she will attend function without makeup. Imlie says she knows only village makeup and not city’s. Malini says she can perform village makeup. Outside, Adi gets angry hearing Imlie is doing Malini’s makeup and says she will spoil it again, so he himself will go and check. Imlie prepares herbal makeup ingredients and applies them on Malini. Malini says knows everything from mehandi, makeup, etc,, and asks if she learnt makeup from her mother. Imlie gets emotional reminiscing insulting Mithi. Malini asks if she is crying. Imlie says no. Malini says she can sense it as she is a professor and says soon she will get her married and hopes she finds a boy like Adi for her who can love her immensely like Adi. Imlie reminisces her marriage with Adi. She then does Malini’s makeup. Adi knocks door. Imlie opens it. He scolds her that she will spoil makeup like she spoils everything. Malini walks to him, and he reminisces Imlie’s bridal makeup and stands freeze. Aparna and others walk in next and praise Malini’s makeup. Adi says he will take Malini to parlor as he doesn’t want guests to comment on her makeup. Malini says she doesn’t mind what people say and she liked this makeup.
