Imlie walk to Adi while he is busy working. He doesn’t react and continues working. She says she didn’t come to trouble him, but to invite him for kite flying on Amma/Mithi’s insistence. He says he has just come to interview a peace meeting between Satyakam and government and nothing else. She angrily walks out of the room. Her friends asks if jijaji didn’t come. She says Babu Saheb/Adi’s hands are very soft holding only pen, so he is afraid of competing with her strong hands.
In Delhi, family waits for Malini in ground to celebrate festival. Pankaj asks Aparna if new bahu is dumped with a lot of work. Aparna asks if he thinks so? Malini enters with kites for children and the whole family, they all get happy seeing colorful kites.
Back in Pagdandiya, Imlie flies kite with her friends singing folk song. Imlie sees Adi roaming around and thinks he would never accompany her. Satyakam seeing Adi walks to him. Adi asks when is his meeting with government scheduled. Satyakam says government works in it own pace, so instead of sitting here, he should come and see how a soil touches sky today with kites, its time to look at the sky from ground. Adi agrees.
Malini sees Tauji/Taiji and Pankaj/Aparna flying kites and misses Aadi. She imagines him walking to her and telling she shouldn’t waste her time on all this. Aparna walks to her and asks if she is missing Adi?
Back in Pagdandiya, Satyakam takes Adi to compete against Imlie. Mithi says let them fly kite together. Villagers encourage Adi and Imlie to compete. Imlie taunts he had is very soft handed and cannot compete against her. Adi accepts challenge saying let him show how his soft pen holding hands will cut many kites. Their competition stats. Everyone encourage them. Adi pulls the thread and both their kites cut and fly away. Imlie’ finger gets injured. Satyakam tells Mithi that their kites are disconnected but are flying too high together.
Malini walks into kitchen to get some stuff and sees Rupal crying looking at her wedding album. She walks to Rupal and says they both are alone, so they should fly kites together. Rupal warns her not to dare say that as she doesn’t want Malini to be alone like her. Malini says she has whole family with her, so she shouldn’t feel disheartened. Rupal says she became a bahu, devrani, jetani, chachi, mami and much more after marriage but couldn’t become a wife. Malini consoles her.
Imlie stands holding her injured finger. Adi walks to her and says he knew people would say that their jodi is best, but whenever he tries to move out, she entangles him in her lies. Imlie thinks what is wrong if people think they are happy couple. He sees her injured finger and asks her to apply antiseptic to ward off infection. She applies soil on her injury and says she can take care of herself even when he is here and after he goes. The next day, Adi gets ready for work thinking finally all festivals and rituals are complete, now he can go back to his work. Satyakam enters with his team and asks them to make arrangements. Mithi asks Satyakam to stay till ritual is complete, and he agrees. Babaji says its an important ritual and asks him to repeat his words keeping his hand on his wife and imagining her with closed eyes and taking her name. Adi imagines Malini, repeats words keeping his hand on Imlie and says Moon/Malini at last. Satyakam’s men point guns at him, and Satyakam asks why did he say moon instead of his wife’s name. Dulari asks who is this moon. Adi and Imlie stand tensed.
Aditya follows ritual and keeping his hand on Imlie’s head takes oath and says Moon/Malini instead of Imlie. Satyakam’s men point gun at him. Dulari asks who is this moon. Imlie says Adi calls her Moon like Amma calls her Bitiya. Dulari shouts she is lying. Imlie asks Chandu what is his real name. He says Jigneshwar Prasad, but his mother calls him as Chandu. Imlie says her husband calls her moon seeing her glowing face. Dulari yells. Satyakam warns her to stop. Babaji asks Imlie to repeat the oath keeping her hand on Adi’s head. She repeats and takes Adi’s name. Babaji says now they both are together forever. Adi thinks he feels suffocated continuing this lie, if Imlie also feels suffocated. Friends congratulate Imlie that her jodi will be forever now, asks if her in-laws love her. Imlie makes a story that her in-laws love her a lot and do even her work, they prepared feast when she left and she enjoys cinema and kulfi with her husband and brings kulfi for the whole family. Adi thinks she is lying so easily, doesn’t she feel guilty. Imlie thinks she has to lie to protect Adi from Satyakam.
Tripathi family walk to Rupal seeing her sad. Tauji try to cheer him up saying they all will cry together. Aparna says she knows how to cheer her up. Rupal says she doesn’t need ice cream. Aparna discusses with Nidhi and Malini. They bring her gift, and Dhruv asks her to open it. She opens it and gets angry seeing her in-laws’ names on it, asks who invited them to Adi’s wedding. Pankaj says he and bhaisab invited them as a formality. She says they didn’t contact her since years and now sent her gift, Tauji should have thought about her. Pankaj consoles him. Malini thinks she should inform Adi that Rupi didi is upset. She gets a call and picks it thinking Adi called, but seeing Anu’s call wishes her. Anu asks if she is upset because of Tripathis, she should come home right now. Malini says she is angry as Adi didn’t call her yet. Anu yells that he does same every time. Dev says some distance is necessary in a relationship. Anu says she will call Adi and scold him. Malini thinks let Adi feel Maa’s wrath. Anu calls Adi while Dev tries to stop her. Mithi picks call and calls Adi. Adi takes phone from her and asks her to go. Dev hearing Mithi’s voice thinks he heard it before. Anu asks Adi if he gives phone to servants even there. He says servant doesn’t know that a VIP has called. She asks to call Malini and disconnects call. Satyakam walks in ordering his men to hide weapons and use them when needed. Adi tells him that he needs to return to his lodge by any means as he is feeling uncomfortable here. Mithi hearing that she made a lot of arrangements for him and prepared feast. Imlie says let Adi go as he feels uncomfortable here. Mithi insists. Satyakam says jami babu is upset regarding peace meeting cancellation with government and tells Adi that he will drop him to lodge once he finishes dinner. Adi agrees and asks to serve dinner then. Mithi asks Imlie to help her serve food to Adi.
Precap: Adi confronts Imlie that he saw her villager’s forcing him first and now her shamelessness by bringing him milk for suhagraat, Baba’s promise of 7 lives is lie and he cannot stay with her. She shouts to stop or else she doesn’t know what she will do. There are bomb blasts going on. Adiya takes Imlie’s hand and they run to save themselves.
