Jodha prays to kahna, Moti ask what are you thinking, Jodha says i am thinking about Adham, Tasnim is very young even then Adham has eye on her, its only about thinking. Moti says it is in fate of women and we servants have to bear this as a women. Jodha says but i am queen and i will not let this happen, moti says no I wont let you do that, Adham is very powerful, he will take revenge. Jodha says i am a queen if he is powerful then i am also powerful, its my duty to save, I am going, Moti ask her where are you going, Jodha says she is going to Tasnim house, Moti says she will also as she is her servant. Jodha ask for these things you will give away Tasnim, she says we are small people we cant do anything, we have raised Tasnim but we cant do anything as Adham is a great man and we will follow him. Tasnim says she don't like Adham at all, he grabbed her from her back, her mother ask her to shut and Jodha to go.
Jodha turn and sees Adham standing, he is stunned, Adham greets her and says it doesn't suite a queen to be here, jodha says it even doesnt suite prince then why are you here, Adham says he wanted to listen to poor people’s problem, jodha then i also came to listen to the people if they have any problem with shahi people. Maham is shouting on Resham that my government is being snatched from me, and the person who is doing that is non other than Jalal, I think he is not trusting me anymore, he didn't include me in Jodha’s secret and now he has decided ministry about 5 states but he didn't ask for my suggestions as chief minister. Else where in the palace Tasnim is being warned by her ammi to be obedient to Adham and do whatever he wants, Adham then drags her along force fully against her wishes On the pretext of showing her a new gift, Jodha reach the spot and orders Adham to leave the girl alone and He has no right to outrage the modesty of a girl. Adham says a baandi is for him to use as he wish, Jodha then says as the begum of shehenshah she orders him to leave the girl alone and not something to satisfy his lust.
Adham -Jodha face off, war of words. Jodha rescues the weeping terrified Tasnim. Adham walks off challenging her Jodha see what she could do to stop him and how would Jalal stop him.
Jalal outside is thinking something when soldier informs that jodha want to meet you. She comes in angry. Jalal ask what happened? You didnt greet me nameste? Did i did something? Jodha says you didnt but your half brother adham did. Jalal says he is bari ami’s son, what he did? Jodha says you are equally responsible if he do something, Adham is misusing his powers to outrage the modesty of a innocent servant. She says whether it is queen or servant every one has prestige as woman and how you will protect your people when your servants in this palace are not safe. Jalal ask meaning. Jodha tells him everything about tasnim, jalal orders soldier to tell adham to be in court tomorrow. Jodha thanks him and says i expected this from you. She leaves.
Maham says to adham that why you came in jodha’s way, he says i didnt but she did. Maham says jodha will tell jalal. Adham says i have won many war for jalal, he will not do anything. Soldier comes and informs that jalal want adham to be present in court tomorrow. Maham says look he listened to jodha, i told ruks to beware of jodha earlier, but she didnt listen and now she is suffering, you will suffer also as jalal has started to listen to jodha but you only know to flirt with young girls, adham says i will not listen to any punishment now and will not accept. In morning, jalal comes to court, everyone is present. Jalal says usually we listen to common people in open court but today its about my family. Jodha has complaint. He ask her to tell what it is. Flashbacks shows that maham told him to accept his love and they also have to show ruks that maham is more experienced in politics. Fb ends. Adham says is it wrong to love someone? He further says that I will marry her at any haq meher (money that groom gives to bride) she wants. All are stunned while Jalal is confused.
Maham ask priest whether what adham is saying is a sin? Priest says no. Maham says I dont find anything wrong if Adham want to do nikkah with tasnim but 1st I will call tasnim’s parents. They comes to court, Maham ask whether they have any problem with this marriage. They say no not at all and we are happy that Adham is making our daugther a queen from servant. Jodha try to interrupt but hamida stops her saying its against court rules, jalal sees it. Maham says after talking to priests, adham and tasnim’s parents my decision is.. She ask for permission from Jalal to tell her decision but jalal says decision will be given tomorrow. He leaves the court. Maham is angry. Jodha is confused.
Jodha comes to Jalal’s room and says I want to say something. Jalal says i saw you wanted to say something in court but hamida didnt allow you so i knew you will come. Tell me what you want to say. Jodha confronts Jalal and asks him if a man had the rights to forcefully marry a girl without her consent? Could he force her to marry him even if she was unwilling or hated him? Would he use his powerful position or his influence to force her parents to forcefully marry the girl to him? Even if he knows she might hate him all her life? Jalal is surprised but Jodha demands his reply/opinion, she says for relations to make there should not be force but love. Jalal says you said these lines with passion and I know about its depth but its not about human thought but law. Jodha says I know your thought that a powerful man can control anything, any person and can win anything but in marriage its about winning love, winning heart. Jodha says sorry to say but king has this immunity that he can do anything, he is not bounded by law. Jalal says I know king’s work and for me my people are important so trust me I will give fair decision. Jodha says I am satisfied now. She is about to leave but turns and says I dont hate you now. Jalal is confused. Jodha says I used to hate you but now no more as you trust me and I am starting trusting your decisions and justice, Jalal is pleasantly surprised. She leave. Jalal cant stop thinking about her trusting words and that I dont hate you now. He says what is this feeling inside, this feeling is when I get happy, I felt this feeling when I got the news that I am going to be father but why am I happy today why? (ishq hai woh ehsas plays). Adka sees Jalal in thoughts and goes to him. He ask jalal whether there is any problem? Jalal says life plays strange games, I used to ignore Adham’s deeds but now complaint is from palace. Adka says what happened was good as we had a inkling about Adham’s deeds so its good that matter is in court now. Take suggestion from everyone but do what your heart says is right. Jalal thanks him for his advice.
In the room Adham says to Maham how wise is his mother and why did he not think of such plan? Adham is sure that he would win Tasneem, Maham warns him not to be so excited and She is worried that Jalal had started thinking and so the importance of chief minister has lessened.
Hameeda Gulbadan and jiji Anga discus that Jalal and Jodha relation should not be affected by Jodha’s involvement in Tasneem and Adham’s fiasco, they were worried about their relation.
Maham is in thoughts when resham says dont worry about Adham, Maham says I am thinking about Jodha, her antics are becoming greater day by day because Jalal is giving attention to her. Jalal comes to Maham and says he is your son but I know you will give fair decision but I think this matter is related to my family as one side is my wife and other side is Adham so I want to ask for suggestions from my special wives. Maham says but there is only one special wife, Ruks. Jalal says yes but I want to ask Ruks, salima and jodha. He leaves. Maham smiles that if there is more than one special wife then there can be huge storm.
All wives gather in harem. Maham comes and says not all wives are called but only special wives. Ruks says there is only one special wife and that is me. Maham says I know that but Jalal’s thinking is not same. Ruks says what joke is this. Maham says I am just saying what Jalal told me, 3 wives are being called, one is Ruks, other is Salima, 3rd is Jodha, all are stunned. Ruks says you both go I will come after talking to Maham.
Jodha and Salima comes outside. Salima is smiling, Jodha ask the reason, Salima says whenever there is problem coming I start smiling. Jodha ask which problem? She says Jalal called us along with his special wife Ruk but I am happy that he called you also, she ask Jodha whether she did like Jalal trusting her? Jodha remain silent, Salima says sometime silence means yes.
Ruks and Maham face off, Ruks says she is very important for Jalal in political matters. Maham reply that she should leave the politics to Maham and ruks should keep herself to harem’s problem and she was the one who asked Jalal not to give states to Adham ruks says so you are taking revenge for that and puts Maham down by saying she is just one baandi, Maham retorts that she is no more the begum e khaas(special wife) and there are two more but bari ammi is only one and for life and says to Ruks that she should expect more begums in Jalal’s life, Ruks is stunned.
