Vanraj continues trying to humiliate Anuj and shouts he can have an open affair shamelessly with Anu. Anuj shouts. Vanraj challenges for a arm wrestling fight again. Anuj warns they are not teenagers to fight and to be in his limits. Vanraj continues. Bapuji and GK ask them to stop fighting like teenagers in front of everyone. Vanraj warns Anuj to romance Anu, but stay away from his family. Anuj warns him to get out before he loses his control. Vanraj burns Anuj’s offer letter and family pics with him in havan and says his family will not keep any ties with Anuj from today and if he and Anu’s acts affect his family, they will repent a lot. Anu remembering Vanraj’s venomous words and walks away.
Back at home, Kavya confront Vanraj for fighting with Anuj. Baa says Vanraj did right. Kavya says Vanraj is sitting on a gun powder and Baa is setting fire, they are in a situation where they can not take Anuj’s enmity as Anu has taken loan from Anuj and he can destroy their cafe, and if he doesn’t, their financial situation is really bad.
Anuj search for Anu and finds her crying vigorously in his building’s basement. He walks to her and says sorry. She says her life was never peaceful and she suffered her whole life, now he is humiliated because of her, even GK is humiliated because of her. Anuj stops her and says as a friend he wants to say something, he is crossing his limits today and breaking his promise of not interfering in her personal life, but her life has become public because of Vanraj; she should understand that her life is not as broken as his, he has only GK in his life and she has her whole family with with Baa, Bapuji, Samar, Pakhi, Kinjal and Nandini; it doesn’t matter if Toshu and Vanraj don’t understand her, rest of the family loves her immensely; tolerating everything and being silent is a good quality in women, but one should think before tolerating injustice; family, friend, or ex-husband doesn’t have any right to insult her; he is not provoking her, but wants her to get out of that bog and stop tolerating it endlessly. She asks what should she do? He asks her to fight for her happiness; she is bearing only hatred after divorce and doesn’t deserve it; one who hates her will not let her live in peace; maybe they change in the future, but for that, she can not ruin her presence; one can not live with handcuffs and has to break break them; he wants her to breathe freely; she can go away from him, but for god sake not go away from her happiness. He offers his kerchief to wipe her tears and was away from her. He then panics remembering Anu crying and Vanraaj’s taunts and vents out his anger on a cement bag.
Bapuji apologize to GK for Vanraj’s heinous act. GK says its not his mistake that his son didn’t learn sanskars from him and gives an example that even with a gardener’s hard effort, a few rogue trees don’t bend. Bhavesh tells Bapuji that they tolerated Vanraj’s nonsense since long and is continuing it, he will not be quiet if he troubles Anu more, its good maa didn’t attend pooja and saw Vanraj’s evil side again. Bapuji leaves with Kinjal and Samar feeling embarrassed. GK praises Anu’s tolerance power.
Anuj continues venting out his anger on a cement bag.
Vanraj tears his shirt in anger.
Bapuji returns home feeling embarrassed due to Vanraj’s heinous act. Vanraj justify himself that Anuj provoked him to the core and he wanted to show him that he and his family are not for sale; Anuj had crossed his limits, so he wanted to show him his limits. Bapuji with folded hands shows his displeasure and walk away.
Devika find Anuj in a panic state and ask what happened? He cry why should only Anupama always suffer, how dare Vanraj humiliate Anu often; he couldn’t do anything seeing Anu crying, saw strong Anu breaking and he just watched her. Devika ask him to calm down as Anu is letting wrong happen to her, she is staying in that house even after divorce, they as friends can only show her right and wrong but not change her, Anu will never leave her family and her family will not stop troubling her, they can’t change the situation or Anu’s mind and can just hope her situation improve. Anuj says he asked her to leave that house, he couldn’t tolerate it seeing her crying and spoke whatever was in his heart. Devika says he did right. He says he just want Anu to be happy always.
Anu return home and tells Vanraj that today was her life’s biggest event and he... He says ruinrd it. She says during her childhood there was a litte boy who live close to her house he used to throw stone at aeroplane via his catapult and used to think he can destroy the aeroplane, she says his act reminded her of that little kid, she says he can throw stones but can not stop her success or destroy her happiness. He with a grin ask really? She ask if he think he will create a drama on the first day of her job and stop her, she says he can not destroy remaining story of a book by spoiling it's book’s first page. He ask if her nonsense is over. She says sorry. He says it's good she is saying sorry and ask why is she apolozing? She use her leg to drop a small stolls hocking everyone and stand on a step facing equal to him.
Anuj try to tear his and Anu’s palm printed paper. GK stop him. Anuj says he didn’t want Anu’s hand, but wanted to see her happy. GK hug and console him.
Anu tell Vanraj sorry for scaring him as he is shouting and creating drama because he is afraid. He ask if he is afraid of her? She says he is afraid of their quality, she says he said when he came to see her for the first time, he saw a wife in her and wife always walk behind husband. He says who stopped a wife to move ahead, even she was staying in same house and nobody stopped her, a race line is same for both woman and man. Anu says men has a degree, but women has ladles, children, in-laws, husband’s chores, and a lock of traditions on her hand; she is not his wife now, even then he is unable to tolerate to see me progressing in life; she says but get use to it because this Anupama who use to follow you will now be ahead of you. She says my tone was down, I was behind you. But now neither my tone will be low nor will i walk behind you.... She laugh and says I have started saying poetic lines, looks like Anuj company is showing it's magic. Right?
Anuj try to call Anu but stop and hopes Anu is fine.
Anu tell Vanraj that he is feeling bad as she is moving ahead without his help. Baa says she is moving ahead holding a stranger's man hand. Anu ask why didn’t she feel bad when she is staying here with a stranger man since so many days? Baa ask who is a stranger man here? Anu says Vanraj Shah. She ask if he means nothing to her? Kavya says Vanraj is indeed a stranger to Anu as he is not even her husband. Anu says Vanraj is afraid that she has become independent and is flying high alone without his help; he wouldn’t have been afraid if Anuj looked ugly with bulging tummy, bald head, and weird face as he would be superior to Anuj; he is afraid of equal competition, be it from Anupama or Anuj; she says she is sorry for scaring you, I can not get rid of this fear but I would surely pray to god to give him some peace. She step down and about to walk away. He says you are back to your place. He says no matter how hard to try to match uo to my level, I would always look down to you. Anupama respond you will see me by bowing your head down. And I would look at you holding my head high. Baa scream Anupama!. Anu respond No! She say today's quota of bearing your taunts is over. Not today. SHocking Baa, Kavya and Vanraj while Kinja smile and feel proud and satisfied of Anupama. I FEEL SATISFIED Anu!!!
The next morning, Anuj wait for Anu in the office and hopes she is fine. He opens cabin door and sees Anu already sitting and checking documents. Jiye To Jiye Kaise Bin Apke.. song plays in the background. Anu notice him and greets Jai Sri Krishna. He asks if she started work? She says she is trying to understand it and ask if he thought she wouldn’t come today? He says no. She says if he had not encouraged her yesterday, she wouldn’t have come today.
At dance academy, Nandini get tensed seeing a hooded T-shirt man and asks who is it? Samar says its him and says after yesterday’s event, he feels Rohan is gone and will not trouble them. She says Rohan will not easily give up. Rohan is seen standing nearby.
Anu tell Anuj that a nest is most important to its bird and it return home in the evening wherever it goes, her family is her world and she want to succeed with them as she want to move ahead both for herself and her dear ones. Anuj apologize to her for suggesting to her to leave her house. She says anyone would have said same. He says he is not anyone, then says she should do whatever makes her happy. She thank him for becoming her friend. He thank her back for considering him as her friend. She says she is lucky that she has a friends like him and Devika and ask if they can start work? Precap: Kavya confronts Vanraj that he is concentrating more on Anuj and Anu than his work and should change cafe menu in their names. Baa seeing that yells at Anu that a relationship which creates a problem at house should be broken, a man and a woman can never be friends. Vanraj gets tensed when Kavya doesn’t pick his call and thinks if she got angry on him and went to seek job from Anuj. Kavya meets Anuj and says she wants to accept his job offer. Anuj tells Anu its her project and he doesn’t want to put her in any uncomfortable situation.
