At Begum’s residence
In the haveli, mahira tells begum that she couldnt see his face, and begum is relieved. mahira says that she wont lose hope, as she has the number of his car and would track him down. begum asks her to forget and move on, but mahira says that she cant do it, and would pursue it. begum asks her to take it out of her mind, but mahria says that she needs to go and find out. She however accidentally stumbles and falls in just then. She notices a man coming in and recognises the same shoes that she had seen in the hospital. She is shocked, as she looks up. mahira sees armaan and tells begum that this is the man who carries azad’s heart. She is shocked herself as she remembers their last encounter. begum however is too shocked and stunned to respond. She tells armaan that he is a person who get all the worse and evil in the world, and that her blue moon ritual couldnt complete due to him, and then took her husband’s heart too, as azad would be rolling in his grave to find that he donated the heart to this person. begum asks her to stop, while she continues that she wont as this man is guilty to azad, her and begum herself too. Armaan says that he isnt in the habit to listen to nonsense. Mahira says that she isnt talking nonsense and repeats that the accident wouldnt have happened, and now he snatched away everything from them, and they dont want any compensation from him in return. she is disgusted and pushes armaan away, asking him to get out of the house straightaway. Armaan tells her to beware, as he wrenches her hands and twists her around, as where she is speaking like this right now, is his house. she is shocked, as he asks who is she to get him out of the house, and if she has a problem, she can surely leave. An anbgry yet intimate confrontation follows. mahira is shocked to know that the house belongs to him. mahira asks begum how can she do this, as this isnt just a cement and brick structure, and she is getting rid of the memories of azad too. begum says that it sounds better than it actually is, as they are terribly udner debt, and he has paid a handsome price for it. mahira asks if she is drowned so much that she doesnt care for her son’s memories. She says that this is the person who took azad’s heart. she says that she tampered with azad but she wont let her tamper with his memories. begum asks her to calm down and let go of time, and move on in her life. she says that she has to live in the present and live on. Armaan interrupts. he clarifies that first of all, he didnt take azad’s life, and hence she should stop this nonsense of a murderer, and secondly the deal for this house is done and there’s nothing that can be done now and he doesnt like this kind of drama in the house and hence they both need to get out. begum and mahira are shocked. Mahira asks him to go ahead and do whatever he wishes to, but she shall not move out. he says that he doesnt have time for nonsense, and asks if she shall go herself, or should he call the police. She is adamant and asks him to do whatever he wishes. he then calls for the police, but before that, begum holds his hand and then retreats when he looks at her. She tells him that she needs to speak to him in private. he is tensed so she pleads. he complies. they both leave. mahira stands tensed.
Inside, begum asks him to try and understand the plight and incredible sorrow that she is going through due to the loss of her husband and asks him to be patient with her. He says that its noone of his business, as his deal is a business one, and not a personal one. she says that she is just asking for sometime, after which they shall leave themselves. When she addresses him as a son, she remembers everything right from their first meeting.
At Begum’s residence
Armaan eyes her angrily. He says that he has seen people making a joke of relations, and asks her to never again address him as son. he asks her to pack her stuff and be out of his hair, by the evening, with her egoist bahu. she pleads but he doesnt listen. Mahira comes and says that he cant throw them out, as legally he doesnt have registration to this house, and that shall take seven days, for which all offices are closed owing to diwali holidays. he says that he shall wait for seven days, after which he shall have them thrown out. they eye each other angrily. he leaves. mahira tells begum that she took a very wrong decision and she shall not let this house go at any cost, and particularly not to him. She storms out. begum thinks that hatred soon blossoms into love, as she too wants that none of them leaves the house, and start a new life together, so that her life’s motive is fulfilled.
In the garden, Armaan meanwhile talks to his mother, and says that he just took the haveli, but wanst driven by any motive. She teases him about the motive being his alliance to a girl. but he says that love isnt for him, and he isnt cut out for it. She says that she he shall fall in love and not even know it. he asks her to come home soon. She says that she misses him and shall come soon. He cancels the call.
Meanwhile, Mahira finds stuff being taken out of the house, and finds azad’s pic in one of them, and hollers at the servants for doing so without anyone’s permission. she is told that armaan ordered that. She finds that armaan is shifting into azad’s room. Mahira enters azad’s room and then orders the servants not to keep armaan’s stuff in this room and asks them to take it away. she is hersaelf about to take it out, when she finds armaan confronting her. He wrangles her by the hand, while she asks him to stop holding her hand. he asks her to stop interfering and he shall stop holding her hand. she says that he cant stay here, and he says that she shall not stay in the house, and that for a week, she should only stay as a guest. He tells her that god made her beautiful, but dumb, or else she wouldnt have crossed his path. She asks him to let go of her hand. he throws her out of the room, and asks her to get lost. Begum sees this from a distance. afreen comes beside her, and laments evilly, that her plight is always miserable as she fails in all attempts, as they have become enemies, from the first meeting, and that they are hating each other, and she shall take full advantage of it. Begum stands tensed, while afreen says that her loss means afreen’s victory, as the minute mahira goes away, she shall sneak in armaan’s heart. begum asks her to stay away from him and the house. She reminds that begum only got her back in, and noone shall even know of it, and shall stay here and captivate armaan, as he is that intelligent, to choose her over an egoist widow. She leaves. begum is tensed. She thinks that hatred cant win over love, and maybe they are enemies today, but they shall meet, as armaan has azad’s heart which shall call her out soon.
Meanwhile, Mahira tells him that just because he is living here that doesnt mean she shall let him live and keep his stuff anywhere. he says that he doesnt need anyone’s permission to choose where he wants to keep what of his stuff, in his own house. He says that within some time of seven days, he shall have her thrown out of the house. mahira says that time will tell who throws whom out. he slams the door shut on her face, and she turns around, but feels a pull behind. meanwhile armaan too finds that her dupatta is stuck to his handcuff, through the door. Both are boggled and tensed, on the opposite ends of the closed doors. she remembers hearing to azad’s heart beating and getting relief out of it, and her moments with azad, and gets emotional and teary eyed, and the irony of the situation now. She turns around and tugs at the dupatta and he too wrenches it free right then, and throws it callously outside. She tells him that he may have taken azad’s heart but she wont let him have his room too. he shuts her up. he is furious that noone has talked to him like this, and that he shall not stand her for even seven days. She says that she shall not let him stay in that room and this houswe too, as azad even gave his heart to him, while she only got memories, and noone can take it from her.
The next morning, armaan talks to his employees, about converting this haveli into the world’s best indian heritage hotel. the employee asks that he had planned to stay here. He asks him to stick to his business, or else shut up. She is shocked to hear this idea, and says that azad’s heart is beating in the wrong chest and that she shall not let him do this to the haveli and shall ruin armaan’s plans. As the meeting and presentation is going on, armaan declares the press about his decision for a heritage hotel in this haveli, and talks about it. he refuses to divulge much info about his personal life, talking only fondly about his granny, the one person he loves the most. Afreen and mahira hear intently, from hiding. He dedicates everything to his granny. the reporters question him about his troubled childhood. he is traumatised by its memories and steers from personal questions. But they keep prodding him into those areas. He is stern and asks them to ask professional questions. He then signals the employee to start with the presentation, as armaan talks about the project detailing about the features of the hotel. but the presentation is that of villages and kachcha houses, completely unrelated to armaan’s description. mahira is amused. the reporters get angry and taunt him for having wasted their time. people start questioning, and then leave. armaan is furious at the debacle of the presentation and is boggled too, completely frustrated. he then eyes mahira in hiding, and understand that she was behind this, and gets into a rage. afreen watches tensedly, as he comes to mahira, and then asks how dare she do this. she says that this is merely a trailor, as if he tries to do anything wrong, she shall show her full strength. They confront each other. She leaves.
Outside, armaan gets a bulldozer to mow down the house. begum sees this and is shocked. she rushes to him and asks why. he asks her to go and ask mahira. inside, mahira is sad and lost in azad’s thoughts, when begum comes and asks her what has she done, that armaan got a bulldozer to mow down the house. mahira is shocked to hear this. she says that in this house, her love for azad resides. she goes out to teach him a lesson. begum then asks her to calm down, saying that hatred wont solve anything, instead she should try and make him understand. She asks her to lower down if she has to save this house. mahira tells her that she doesnt need to, as she knows she is doing the right thing. begum says that this house isnt as strong as her, and that she knows he is wrong, but right now, their focus should be to save the house. she makes her swear on the lord. mahira says that she has left it all on the lord only. she comes out and while armaan watches, she moves past him, and then sits down in front of the bulldozer, while the people and afreen are shocked. they all ask her to move. but she doesnt. she prays that those who help themselves and are firm willed, are also helped by the lord. she says that her memories are in danger and begs for it to be saved. the people are shocked and scream at her to move but she continues praying.
At Begum’s residence
Armaan watches silently as mahira sits. begum comes out and is shocked, and then begs armaan while he is sure that mahira would get up at the last minute. he however is adamant and doesnt relent. she tries to make him understand that mahira is adamant and wont budge at all. begum rushes from mahira to armaan asking him to stop. Afreen thinks that its good that mahira shall die, and begum be houseless. just then, armaan’s granny arrives and is surprised to find the commotion and asks whats happening. She comes in the crowd, and then asks afreen whats going on and that this is Armaan’s house. afreen narrates everything, saying that mahira is greedy. granny says that the girl doesnt look so, as who is praying like this, cant be wrong. Afreen asks who is she, disgusted by her concern for mahira. granny taunts that she got really good manners. she says that she wont let this girl be hurt and shall definitely save her. she tries to make her way through the crowd. afreen gets frustrated and rushes after her. As granny comes to the forefront, afreen stands behind her. while granny is shocked, afreen pushes her. In the commotion, she shoves armaan’s granny and she falls right in front of the bulldozer between it and mahira. mahira is shocked to see this and armaan is aghast. Hurrying immediately to rescuse her from the incoming bulldozer, mahira rushes first with armaan after her, for his granny’s help. mahira covers granny while he rushes ahead when it doesnt stop. The bulldozer continues, while armaan steps inside the machine and then takes the steering himself and motors it away, within inches of the ladies. begum is relieved. mahira asks her if she is okay and she says yes. he comes to her, and then instantly begins to take care of her. Afreen is angered, while begum is shocked. Mahira is tensed.
Inside, he tends to his granny’s wound, while she asks him not to bother unnecessarily. she wants to ask about mahira, and he says that she is the previous owner of the house. she asks whats his problem with the house. he says that he has a problem with those who lived inside it. She again repeats that the girl who was so ardently praying cant be wrong at all and that he misunderstood her. But he is insistent too he knows her very well and knows how to handle her very well too. she says that she doesnt know whats going on between them, but knows this much, the due to that girl, his granny is alive today. She says that he gifted him her life, and that he should thank her for this. he is set to thinking, while she smiles at him.
Armaan then comes to mahira, and thanks her for saving granny’s life, but she taunts that even positivity doesnt suit him at all. She says that she would have saved anyone in place of his granny, as she believes in saving unlike him. he hears tensedly. she reminds that she had told she wouldnt let anything happen to the haveli and till she is here, he wont succeed at all. he says that she should thank granny, as had she not been there, she would have been finished today with her house. She asks him to go threaten someone else, as she isnt scared now, since the lord is with her, after what happened today, nd she isnt alone, and asks her to take a countdown, as she shall have him thrown out of the house with his stuff. she storms out. he thinks that some people arent meant to be courteous too, as now he wont only break her house but her pride too, by getting her to sign the papers to relinquish her property.
Later, mahira is thanked by some ladies, who have come to ask for some charity on azad’s behalf, and she happily entertains them. she gets ready to sign the papers. She then starts seeing the papers, while armaan watches from the balcony, calling and telling someone, that his women are with mahira, getting her to sign the papers, in the name of chairty and that she is about to sign. She starts going through the papers. he watches tensedly. the lady is actually, Afreen under the burqa, who gives her a pen that she earlier laced with aneasthesia, and accidentally yet intentionally pricks it, on her hand, and then apologises for her negligence. mahira is about to sign when she gets dizzy. She is boggled as to whats caused this. he watches fom the balcony and wonders whats she doing, and whats taking the delay. afreen smiles under the veil. mahira says that she would just be back. she gets up in a dizzy and groggy state, and begins to walk towards her room, feeling nauseatic all the while. Finally, she is about to fall off, when he holds her, and she confronts him, in her semi-conscious state. he is boggled and tensed to see her like this, wondering what happened to her. he carries her in his arms and then places her on the bed. he tries to wake her up, but she doesnt respond at all. he gets concerned, and dials the doctor and asks him to come in for an emergency. he checks her pulse, and finds that its normal and that she is breathing, and wonders if she is dramatising. He pinches her to see, but finds her actually unconscious, and thinks that if she had to be sick, she could have had that after signing the papers. latif tries begum’s phone in mahira’s room, tensed that begum would be tensed if she gets to know of mahira, while he is tensed, as he checks mahira. When the doctor comes and checks mahira, armaan asks him whats wrong with her. He says that he feels she has been poisoned. this shocks armaan. he says that he is giving the antidote, but cant say for sure, if it shall work. Armaan asks who shall tell him then. He says that he is the doctor, but not the lord. he says that the poison has stunned her brain and isnt lethal, as her heart is beating normally. He says that if she doesnt come back to her senses, within 24 hours, then she might have to be admitted. he then leaves. armaan is tensed. He wonders who has poisoned this poisonous lady and thinks that maybe she did this to herself, as she had told she would do, to save the house.
At Spa and salon
Begum and gazalla have a relaxing session at the spa, where gazalla is supremely happy. begum says that she too is happy, as mahira refused to sign off the papers and she can breathe easily. Her masseuse is actually afreen, who thinks that she can breathe a few minutes more, as after that she has to stop breathing, so that she can take in the fresh air, with her son, and start a new life afresh. she tells gazalla that she is going to the steam room, while gazalla decides to stay back here only. begum leaves. Afreen eyes her evilly.
On the road
Armaan halts at the signal, and afreen drives in beside him, and asks for directions. He gives them. she thanks him and then compliments him on his choice, as his car is nice. she then pulls up the windshiels, and drives past. armaan sits boggled, and then drives on. Further on the road, armaan finds afreen in a commotion with another lady, who is fighting with her, as she caused damage to her car. When afreen sees that she has armaan’s attention, she asks the lady to slap her. She does so, and afreen hits her head against the windshield and it starts bleeding. he intervens. She thanks him for his coming and says that she made a mistake and has apologised too. he advocates for her too. But the fight ensues, as afreen pretends to be dizzy, and falls unconscious, when he gets concerned for her, and takes her in his arms, and then walks to his car, while she continues to pretend being sick.
