Imlie get bored while studying and thinks she used to think herself as intelligent woman, but she is very dumb. She hits her head murmuring. Adi asks why is she hitting herself. Imlie says she is unable to understand anything. He says that is because she is studying continuously and needs break, he will drop her to the hotel where family has gone by taking hotel location. He takes her on bike and midway gets his colleague’s call who informs that contractor Tripath Singh is meeting his underworld contact in a hotel named Grand hotel. He thanks colleague and says he will reach hotel right now. Colleague asks him to be careful. He tells Imlie that he needs to rush to a hotel, so he will take her along. She says she will go home alone with Seeta maiya’s help. Adi says Seeta maiya was with her during all her problems, so he will not let her go home alone and take her along. He makes her sit as pillion and speeds bike towards hotel.
Anu walk to Malini. Malini asks her to go as she doesn’t want to talk to her. Anu says everyone thinks she is wrong and even she hopes she is wrong this time, she will not let Malini repeat the mistake she did. Malini asks what mistakes, she should tell what wrong happened to her. Anu says she gave lenience to Dev as he is an artist and needs to meet many people, but he misused his freedom. Malini says nobody is misusing freedom as Adi is having work in office and will come here directly to meet her. Anu says neither he has work nor he is coming directly to meet her and shows Adi entering with Imlie. Malini says how did he come here as she didn’t send him this address, maybe Nishant has sent him address. Anu asks what about that girl. Malini says he must have picked her up from home, what is a big deal. Anu says let us wait and see where they go. Malini asks what she wants to prove? Anu follows Adi and Imlie. Adi search for contractor’s underworld contact Bunty and sits at a nearby table. He orders tea. Anu tells Malini that Adi must have felt this place is safe and hence came here with servant thinking his family member will not come here, Tripathis trust them alot and now she will inform them what their son and servant are doing. Malini stop her and says she doesn’t want her family’s happiness to be spoilt, so she will question Adi alone later. Anu says Adi is alone with servant. Malini thinks why did Adi bring Imlie alone, is there something she has to worry about?
Adi looks at Bablu while acting as looking at menu. Imlie asks why is he staring at them. Adi asks her to keep quiet or else she will create a drama and let anyone know that he is here. Imlie says if she knew he would come here disguised, she would have brought some sabji along. He says 2 of them knows him, so he is hiding his face. She asks who are they? He says these are the people because of whom bridge collapsed. She ask if Malini is hurt because of them? Adi says one is contractor Tripath Singh and another is gangster Bablu whom 3 states’ place is searching for, he wants to hear their conversation and wants someone to keep recorder near their table. Imlie agrees to do it for him. He goes very closer to her and says she will keep recorder near table silently and then walk away as they are very dangerous if she is caught, she should go away after keeping it and he will call her while leaving hotel. She takes recorder and walks away saying yes boss. Anu asks Malini till when will she try to convince herself and give excuses? Malini says she doesn’t have to give any excuses and will meet Adi right now.
Imlie hides recorder in toy car and fixes it under table with a boy’s help and then acts as scolding the boy. Adi hears their conversation. Malini walks to him and asks what is he doing here, whole family is here, and why did he bring Imlie here separately. Adi says busy hearing conversation says Imlie was confused after studying, so he brought her here. Malini asks why is he ignoring his wife. He says he cannot talk to her now. She says let us go to family. He says he can not and ask not to inform family as they will come to him, she should go from here. Malini walks away fuming. Imlie apologize to Bablu and walks away scolding the boy. She returns to Adi. Malini returns to family. Aparna says Adi didn’t come yet, she should call him and find out where he is. She says she spoke to him and he said he is busy, so they can finish food and go home. Family starts dinner.
Adi hears contractor telling Bunty that he will be caught as he used inferior quality material to build the bridge. Bunty says nothing will happen to him and asks to send money regularly. Adi then feels guilty that he rudely spoke to Malini for whom he is doing this investigation. He walks to Malini and apologizes for being rude and says he came here for a secret mission. Anu ask why did he come with Imlie then, Imlie is found everywhere whenever Malini is in trouble and repeats all the incidents. Malini asks her to stop as its proved that she is wrong. Anu warns that Imlie is problematic and if they don’t pay attention, Imlie will create a rift between them and they won’t be able to identify each other. Malini asks Adi to finish his work and takes Anu away. Adi drives home back with Imlie and thinks Anu is right that there are misunderstandings happening between him and Malini because of Imlie; he felt Malini felt bad seeing him with Imlie, she was shocked and what will happen if she finds out about his and Imlie’s marriage. He reminisces Imlie telling that marriage happens once and no one else can come in her life again. Imlie tells Adi to expose culprits soon. Adi thinks whatever happened is not Imlie’s mistake, she is very small and can not spend her whole life working in his house; before 3 lives are ruined, he has to do something.
Aditya stops bike midway home. Imlie asks why did he stop as they didn’t reach home yet. Adi says route is long and she has to decide where she wants to go. She says she wants to go home. He asks what she wants and where life should take her? She says she donn’t understand. He says their ways shouldn’t have met, whatever happened in Pagdandiya was under pressure and forceful, he never wanted to go ahead with it, she is only 19 years old and has a whole life ahead, he wants her to spend her life in her way, she is intelligent and should study well and get married to a good boy. She shocked asks what is he saying? He says she can not be alone and he wants her to choose a life partner. She asks him to stop. He says he is not her husband, but she herself is considering that, her Pagdandiya sindhoor is not in her forehead; he want her to have her own family and life, he will support her and explain to Mithi and Satyakam, he is her responsibility. She says she knows what he means, he feels their relationship as wrong, illegal, and helplesness, but whatever it is, she can not deny their relationship; she never forced her relationship on him and never considered his and Malini’s relationship wrong, then how can she trust his words; she knows he feels bad seeing her doing his household chores and gets confused seeing her with his family; he wants her to stand on her legs; she will not stay or work in his house and will stand on her legs on her own without anyone’s support. He says he wants to change her thinking as life is very complicated than her thinking. She says she knows he can not make her Radha or Rukmini, but he can not stop her from becoming Meera; she will go far away from him and his family and promises that he will never see her face again. She sits behind him as pillion again and thinks she can bear any insult from Adi but not that he is not her husband; when time comes, she will go away from Adi’s life with his named mangalsutra and sindhoor and never wants even Seeta maiya take that right from her. Serial’s title song plays in the background. They both reach home. Adi walks to his room silently while she sadly looks at him going.
Ganster Bunty’s aide informs him that a reporter recorded his and contractor Tripath’s conversation in hotel. He orders aide to find out via hotel’s CCTV footage who is he who will die tomorrow.
Adi walks to Malini and asks if she is busy? She says she thought he would return to work, should she bring something for him to eat. He says he wants to talk to her, but why is she ignoring him? She says she is unable to ignore whom she wants to as nobody can ignore their mom; she falls in mom’s words sometimes and fights with Adi, earlier mom used to think Adi was not giving her time and now thinks Adi is giving time to Imlie; she was speaking as if she is trying to create differences, its not normal; she wants to get her mom rid off her doubts. He sits in front of her and says he doesn’t want to know what her mom or the world think about him, he just wants to know what she thinks and if she has any doubt regarding him and Imlie? She says she feels trust has only white color which is pure and spotless and one doubt can spoil it; he never gave her a chance to doubt him and will not question him until he himself tells that his trust is breaking. He says he will never let her trust broken even if he dies. He gets boss’ call and informs that all recording is with him and he will give it when he comes to office, he will write the story whole night and its better if story comes out early. He tells Malini that now he. She says he wants to go to office, he need not worry about her as she is fine and asks to take care of himself. He hugs her emotionally and leaves.
While walking, he thinks he has to explain to her that he can not think of insulting her, he should speak to her once as she was tensed and may harm herself in anger.
Imlie packs her clothes and looking at her mother’s pic thinks she thought to serve her husband and his family, her husband doesn’t want to stay with her, so she will obey him and will return to amma to stay with her forever; she couldn’t become Adi’s wife and doesn’t want to become his problem. Adi knocks door. She hurriedly ties her bag/potli and opens door, but doesn’t find anyone outside. She walk through corridor holding bag when vase falls down. Aparna hearing sound asks if its Imlie and walks towards it. Imlie hides in a room and weeps. She then silently leave the house.
Adi reaches office. Co-worker asks him to check the story once. He checks and approves it. His friend praises his article and says he is exposing big criminals, so his life is in danger and he should accept boss’ advice and stop the news for a few days. Adi reminisces Imlie’s words not to back off and says he will not back off from telling the truth, etc.
Imlie waits for a bus in bus stand when an inebriated man walks in and insists to give him money to eat. She barks at him and he runs away. She asks people around not to get afraid as her dadda taught her to speak to people in their tone.
Adi tells his friend that he knows a girl who can take any risk to do right things. Friend asks if he is talking about his wife. Adi calls Malini. Malini asks if he finished his work? He says he thought she must have slept by now. She says she is waiting for him. He says he is leaving and will bring jalebis for her. She asks to bring it for the whole family, they all can have it with tea. He thinks he should buy samosas for Imlie as she likes spicy and tangy food.
In the morning, Bunty gets angry seeing his news in newspaper, beats his aide and orders to bring Adi to him. Imlie checks bus number for Pagdandiya on board. Adi stops bike nearby and buys jalebi. Imlie asks someone if he knows where she can catch Pagdandiya bus from? He says he doesn’t know. Bunty’s goons kidnap Adi. Imli notices it and runs behind car, she notices car number and byhearts it.
Precap: Bunty trashes Adi and points gun at home. Bullet shoots, and Adi falls down. Imlie reaches there. Adi searches Imllie. Imlie wears her mangalsutra and sindhoor while traveling in bus.
