Anuj tells Anupama that he had many girls in his life, some as friend, some as girlfriend, some as a night companion. He met many and had affairs, but couldn’t love anyone; its not that those girls had something missing in them, he couldn’t love them and it would have been injustice to the girls if he had married one of them; usually one falls in love after marriage, but what if it doesn’t there is one-sided love in marriage. Anu remembers Vanraj’s betrayal. Anuj says he would have married, but couldn’t as he didn’t want to take the risk. She says he can marry even now as he doesn’t look more than 30, rich, and handsome; he should marry as everyone needs a life partner. He laughs and mimicking Salman Khan says there are 2 kind of people, one can be married and sad and other can be unmarried and happy, he chose to be happy. She laugh. He says he had a bad luck in love, but he has learnt to live happily. She continues laughing. He asks when she said everyone need a life partner, then why don’t she remarry? She says she doesn’t need a life partner.
Vanraj writhes with leg pain and headache. Nandini gives him pain killer. He thank her. She says he feels bad when he hurts Anu and hurts himself in the process and gives an example of a kid playing in a dirt. She says a lot happened in this house recently and she feel it was just a built up and real drama will start now, he should handle it if it happens.
Anu tell Anuj that she doesn’t have a place for a life partner in her life, not because she is a mother of grown up children, but because she doesn’t have the courage to love or bear pain as she did it once and can’t again. She says one can tolerate a young age love, but can not tolerate mature age love; she gathered herself with great difficulty, but can’t again. He mimics Salman Khan again and says she is right and should join Mamaji’s single’s club membership; as he said she can be happily unmarried than unhappily married. She laughs again. He sasy can they go now after his bad mimicry? She says yes. They pray to god again and return to car. Ek Duje Ke Vaaste.. song plays in the background. Climate changes. Back in car, Anu messages Bapuji that they are leaving and will reach home by evening. Rain starts. Anu says its an unseasonal rain like cooking competition day. He says he can’t see roads due to heavy rain.
Family gets concerned for Anu. Pakhi asks Toshu about Kinjal. Toshu says she has gone to Mumbai for conference. Bapuji says Anu messaged that she will return by evening. Samar says her phone is not reachable. Anuj’s car gets stuck. He try to make a call, but doesn’t find network. She says its heavily raining and even her phone doesn’t have network. He says he will go out and check and ask her to be in car. She says they both will go out together and jokes giving example of a movie. He offers her umbrella. She asks if he is waterproof? He says he is also not made of salt. He hold umbrella and gets her out. She slips. He holds her and drops umbrella. They get drenched. He removes his blazer and drapes it over her. She remembers seeing a house nearby and reminds him discussing about it. He says he remembers. She asks is ?it. He murmurs he remembers her each word. They both head towards the house.
Bapuji speaks to GK on the phone and assures him that Anuj would be fine. Vanraj gets worried for Anu. Baa with a frowning face asks what is he blabbering? Samar says its better for mummy and Anuj to stay in a hotel than driving in rain. Baa determines to punish Anu if she doesn’t return home today.
Anu and Anuj reach a home and ring bell hoping they can make a call from there. Two boys half open door. Anuj requests to let them make a call. Boys says they can’t trust strangers and can not allow them in. Anu says they are right as she also taught her children not to trust strangers. Anuj asks them to check his name on internet. They check and get excited seeing him and says they were partying with friends in their guest house. They take them in and introduce famous NRI businessman Anuj Kapadia to their friends. Anuj apologizes for disturbing their party. Anu calls from landline and informs Bapuji that they are stuck in rain and reached a house. Samar suggests to stay there tonight as there is a cloud burst in that area. Vanraj, Toshu, and Baa frown hearing that.
Anupama via landline informs Bapuji that she and Anuj are fine and are in some college students’ guest house. Anuj ask her to inform Bapuji that this house is near highway. Call disconnects and phone gets dead. Anu says Bapuji would inform GK that they are fine. Bapuji informs GK same. Vanraj asks Baa to rest, but she with a frowning face refuse and decides to wait till Anu returns.
Anu and Anuj feel they shouldn’t disturb youngsters’ party. Their argument starts. Youngsters say they fight so cutely and ask them to join their party. They hesitate. Youngsters show their college reunion dance video and sends them to their parent’s room to change their clothes. Anuj returns, and they say he looks like a dude and its wrong to call him uncle. Anuj says Anuj is fine. Anu walks down in shalwar kameez. Anuj remembers the day he saw her first and its it was 23rd July 1995, 10:3:15 a.m. He recites shayari and enjoys Anu dancing with youngsters. Pehla Nasha Pehla Khumar.. song plays in the background. He further imagines sipping cool drinks from her bottle, etc. Youngsters help their friend Rahul propose to her girlfriend Isha. Rahul kneel down and says they were friends and he doesn’t know when he fell in her love, will she be his girlfriend? Isha scold him and asks who takes so much time to propose, she accept his proposal and hug him. He reveals that he saw her first time a year ago and fell in love with her. A friend says he was waiting to propose to her since that day and hence they planned this party. Anuj remembers his days and think if he had shown this courage 26 years ago, his fate would have been something else. He starts sneezing. He and Anu then dance on Pehli Baar Mohabbat Ki Hai.. song. He feels severe headache and stumbles. Everyone gets concerned and asks if he is fine. He says yes. She scolds him and asks youngsters to take him to room while she brings kadha/herbal decoction for him.
Vanraj continues waiting for Anu and notices its already 3 a.m.
Anuj gets a high fever. Anu asks youngsters to call a doctor. They say no one will come in this storm. Anu says she will feed him kadha and apply cold compresses. Anuj asks youngsters not to spoil their party because of him and sends them away. Anu forcefully feeds him kadha and says she is here with him. Anuj’s fever raises. Anu asks him to try to sleep. Anuj says he wants to tell her something and says I.. Boy enters and says they are trying to call doctor continuously in vain. She asks to continue trying and turns to see Anuj asleep.
Vanraj continues trying Anu’s number and then calls guest house’ landline and asks if he can speak to Anu as he is from his family. Boy says uncle fell ill. Vanraj unable to hear him asks to repeat. Boy says uncle and aunty are resting in a room. Vanraj burns in anger hearing that.
The next morning, Anuj wake up and sees Anu sleeping on a couch nearby. Meri Dunya Hai Tujhme Kahin.. song plays in the background. Anu wakes up hearing sound and asks if he is fine? He says yes, he doesn’t know how he fell ill. She says he was drenched in the rain. He thank her for taking care of him. She ask if he wouldn’t if she fall ill? He says he will never let anything happen to her. She remember him trying to say something last night. He ask if he blabbered something subconsciously. She says usually people speak truth subconsciously. He says he will book a cab and let company’s servicemen tow his car away. She agrees.
At Shah house, Vanraj continues frowning remembering boy’s words that uncle and aunty are in a room. Kavya taunts him that his ex-wife is returning after a big task, he should welcome her. He drag chair and sits near main door. Samar remembers similar incident earlier.
Precap: Vanraj humiliates Anu. Anu says enough of respect, agni pariksha is given for Ram and not Ravan/Vanraj. Baa shouts. Anu decides to leave Shah house. Anu leaves Shah house after her heavy dialogues.
