Pakhi calls Samar and Toshu for Bhai dhooj tika ritual. Baa feel sad that Dolly will not visit them for the festival for the first time. Kavya think she need to act as a good daughter inlaw as per V’s orders. She greets everyone happy bhai dhooj, but nobody reply. She says she will get milk for Baa. Bapuji says he already gave her. Anu call Baa. Baa excitedly picks call and ask how is she. Anu says she is fine, but she is busy at the office and hence can not visit them, love for children, and Baa should take care of herself well. Kavya ask if she should call Dolly for bhai dhooj ritual as Dolly will not deny her request? Vanraj says let it be. Kinjal says Pakhi will perform papa and Bapuji’s tika as it auspicious today. Pakhi sees everyone sad and remembering last year’s festival sings Jhola Bahon Ka Aaj Bhi Dona Mujha dances with Samar and Toshu and performs their, Bapuji, and Vanraj’s tika. Kavya think its her family and she needs to convince them as Vanraj’s way to heart is via this family and not stomach.
Anu prepares chocolate fudge in her house and remembers cooking at Anuj’s house. Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahi.. song plays in the background. She then think Sweety must have applied tika to Samar and Toshu.
Vanraj calls Baa outside and says he wants to talk something important with her; he says he knows Kavya will repeatedly make mistakes and Baa will scold her. Baa ask what is new in it? He says he will not stop Kavya’s mistakes, let Anu visit them as per Baa’s wish and if there is any tussle, let her and children handle it at their level best, Bapuji will not interfere in anything, and Baa as a MIL shouldn’t misbehave with Kayva like she used to with Anu. Baa ask if she shouldn’t stop Kavya’s misbehavior? He says he is left way behind in life and wasted a lot of time; they named him Vanraj Shah, a jungle lion, everyone used to fear him and he had a respect and name in the market, he wants to regain that same respect; its true that Anu never used to let family issue borther him, hence he used to concentrate at work; he wants to prove that Baa’s son is not incompetent, children’s father hasn’t retired yet, prove to Anu and Anuj that he hasn’t shattered yet, and finally he is the same old lion, so he doesn’t want any issues at home. Baa agrees, blesses him, and goes to get tea for him. Kavya noticing them think if they were conspiring against her.
Anuj wait for Anu at the office. Anu enters office. Dil Hai Ke Maanta Nahi.. song plays in the background. She notice magnet in Anuj’s hand and remembers Bhavesh saying he noticed their childhood magnet with Anuj, Bapuji asking her to let Anuj in her heart, Samar also saying same, etc.
Leela inform Bapuji what Vanraj told her. Bapuji says he never spoke before and now he will never speak, Vanraj is his own enemy, his adamancy will make him succeed, and pray to god to let him take the right steps. Leela says he should trust their son. Bapuji says Vanraj should bother about himself forgetting other’s issues.
Anuj welcomes Anu and gets happy smelling chocolate from her bag. She offers him chocolate fudge box. He praise her chocolate fudge and says I love you, he wrote his life’s first poem/shayari for it. Anu stops hearing that. Anuj reciting poem continues praising chocolate fudge. She realize its for the dish and not her. He enjoys dish. She checks magnet and realize its her magnet.
Toshu ask Kinjal if she will shift with him to pent house as he will not get a job and pent house without her. She says he shouldn’t make penthouse as his identity and forget his own identity. He ask if she will not shift with him or not. She says she will not as she has more responsibilities here and after what he did. He ask what did he do? She says he insulted his mother and went against her for a pent house, when he couldn’t be his family’s, how will he be hers. Kavya comments a person can have different perspective in life than others to succeed in life. Kinjal ignores her and leaves. Toshu asks Kavya to go and help Vanraj in cafe. She asks why don’t he himself go and help or else he wants to only go to penthouse. He fumes that everyone insults him.
Anuj finishes chocolate fudge smearing his lips with it. Anu says he is modern day Kanhaji, Kanhaji used to have butter and he has chocolate. He laughs followed by her. GK passes by and smiles seeing them laughing. Song continues playing..
Vanraj ignores Kavya and gets busy on laptop while she try to talk to him. Kavya tells him that she is trying to speak to him for long, but he is not interested. He says she told him that she will handle his family and house, she says she is trying her best for him even after Baa asked her to leave her room yesterday and humiliated. He get a call and walk away ignoring her.
At a cafeteria, Anuj tells Anu its good she and Mrs Leela’s differences are cleared, it will take time to heal wounds of words, but they will with love. She says he is right, what are they doing here even after their meeting is finished? He says this place’s paan milkshake is famous and talk about celebrating happiness with minute things like they used to in childhood, etc. He further says he likes home cooked food, especially from her hands, and just wants paan milkshake from here; gives her menu card to order dishes. She says whenever she used to rarely visit restaurants with family, family used to order. He asks her to order this time. She checks menu carefully. He asks not to look at the price like his mother and all housewives and sensing her getting an idea says they will make a rule in their restaurant to let ladies check menu first and select dishes and explains reasoning. She orders chiku milkshake, and he orders paan milkshake and describes how much he loves it. Anu gets Pakhi’s call and requests her to attend her PTM as Vanraj’s phone is not reachable. Anuj hearing that pays for milkshake without having it and insists to accompany Anu. Anu feels guilty that he is being involved in her daily hustle bustle and says its wrong. Devika waits for Anu outside her house and hides seeing Anuj’s car coming. Anuj drops Anu and says he will forward her meeting details. Devika barges in suddenly. Anu excitedly hug her and asks when will she stop being a kid. Devika says never as she doesn’t want to be boring like them. Devika invites Anuj for tea. He leaves saying he has an important meeting. Devika notices Anu lost in thoughts while preparing tea and asks if its regarding Anuj? Anu says Anuj helped her always helped her from finding her sandal to attending her daughter’s PTM instead of attending his own important meeting, he does so much without expecting anything in return, she dumps all her problems on him in return. She says she is getting too formal, friends are to help each other and friendship gives right to share each other’s problems. Anu says not Anuj. Devika says Anuj likes to help and be with her as he loves her ignoring her family humiliating him, even she would help him in need; there is no formality in friendship, etc.
Kinjal returns home from office and ignores Toshu who is busy watching movies. He says she is ignoring him as he is jobless. She says problem is with him not trying for a job and gives example of Kavya who tried her best to get a new job after she lost it. He says if one gets a job with running around, papa and Kavya would have gotten a job by now. She asks if he will be watching a movie. He asks what is wrong with her, she has problem with everything and is not happy with him returning home. She says she would be happy if he had come by himself and not after being kicked out of pent house. He asks if she has problem with him being in one room. She says she has problem with his attitude and if this continues even with him. He thinks she will be without him soon.
Devika continues chatting with Anu and asks if she also loves Anuj. Anu says she is just worried for Anuj and asks not to name her worry as love. Devika asks not to foolishly name her love as friendship and accept it. Anu says she doesn’t love Anuj as she loved Vanraj immensely once and is shattered. Devika says whatever god wants will happen and requests her to just go with the flow listening to her heart. Back at Shah house, Baa waits for Anu messaging her to visit temple with her. Kavya tongue lashes her to stop conspiring against her thinking she will return the house, she called Anu today but should have to take her permission from next time. Baa feels sad and tells Bapuji that without house, she lost her self-respect. She further discusses about their 50th wedding anniversary and says children don’t remember their anniversary and if they remember, they will not celebrate, so they should visit a temple that day and spend whole day in bhajan keertan. Anu hears their conversation.
Precap: Anu discusses with Vanraj and children that should perform Baa and Bapuji’s wedding again on their 50th wedding anniversary. Kavya threatens Vanraj that he can not do anything in her house without her permission. He threatens back that nobody can stop him from celebrating his parents’ wedding anniversary and asks if he should leave the house with his family. Anu grinding mehandi for anniversary celebration asks Kavya to behave normally if possible. Kavya says she is giving her knowledge in her own house. Anu warn her to stop saying that as names written on paper can be changed, so she should write her name on people’s heart. Kavya says she is trying to become poetic with her boyfriend’s company.
