Police arrests Tripathi's families and take them to police station. Imlie run behind police van. Sundar calls Adi and inform him the issue.
Behind bars, Nishant tells Anu it was their family issue and she shouldn’t have involved police in it. Harish and Pankaj says she did wrong. Anu ask them not to embarrass themselves more, they should blame maid Imlie for thier problem. Anu says she earlier blamed her for Malini’s condition and now blaming her again for family’s condition and put them in jail. Anu asks if its her family, if she had proof against her, she would have also been in jail for troubling Malini. Imlie says they never troubled Malini and love her, Anu is doing really wrong. Inspector asks Anu to sign on the FIR charge sheet. Anu does. Imlie walks away saying she will bring the proof.
KC is waiting for Imlie and thinks Imlie knows that she has 11 a.m. appointment to get a court date for Satyakam’s hearing, even then she is late. He calls landline and when no one picks thinks if they don’t file plea within 12 noon, case will be delayed. He thinks whom to call, remembers Malini and thinks there is no other way than calling the crazy lady.
Malini gets ready and asks servant about Anu. Servant says she left home in the morning. Malini asks him to serve lunch to Dev on time. KC calls her and asks if he is speaking to Malini Chaturvedi? She says yes and asks who is it. He says he is barrister KC. She asks how did he get her number. He says Imlie had 11 a.m. appointment to file for Satyakam’s court date, neither anyone in family nor Adi is picking call and he needs someone to file a plea. She says she will accompany him.
Adi reach police station and tells inspector that his family is brought here. Anu says he is her daughter’s husband and is the main culprit. Adi yells what nonsense? Anu says now he will boast about being a journalist and forgot that one who makes news can also become a news, he will go to jail for what he did. Inspector says he has charges of domestic abuse and harassment against him. Adi says he didn’t know she would stoop so low. She says he dated his daughter for 7 years and after marriage is ransacking her. Adi says divorce was not only his decision. She asks inspector to arrest him immediately. Constable puts him behind bars.
Imlie reach Chaturvedi house to gather evidence. Dev asks how is she. Imlie remembers promising Anu not to meet Dev again and walks away ignoring him and returns with evidence. He holds her and asks what happened. She says she will not break the promise made to Anu and if there are problems because of his wife, she will not spare her. Dev asks what is the issue? She walks away.
Back in police station, Adi consoles his family. Aparna cry that she tolerated Anu’s nonsense till now thinking she is also a mother, but she put her in jail even though she loved Malini like a daughter. Pankaj says what can they do when Malini is having an affair with someone. Adi calls someone. Rupali says why don’t they inform police that Malini is having an affair. Adi says he will not let a black mark on Malini’s character and neither on their dignity, they should trust him and he will find some way out. Imlie returns. Adi asks her to return home. She says she will take them all home. Adi says there is no need for it. She shows pen drive and says its a key for the lock. Anu says this lock will not open easily as India’s best lawyer are preparing case against them. Imlie says she will get them out. Anu says they are in jail because of her, she is inauspicious and spreads sorrows wherever she goes. Radha warns Anu dare not touch Imlie. Anu says they want to protect her, but will hate her when they spend a night in jail. Adi warns Anu not to say anything to Imlie. Anu says Imlie’s lover is reacting, what magic did she do on her lover that he is ready to leave his wife. Imlie holds her hand tightly. Anu ask her to leave her hand. Aparna and Harish also ask her to leave Anu as there won’t be any difference between her and Anu. Imlie says she will leave her after showing the difference between right and wrong, Anu should see how these people are concerned for her even though she put them in jail, she just needs her voice against Anu. Anu says whatever she does, she can not harm her. Imlie says how much ever goodness try to be wrong, it can not be and evil harms itself with it deeds. She plays her physical torture video on Adi’s phone and threatens Anu that Anu doesn’t have any proof against her family, but she has proof against her and can send her behind bars, her India’s best lawyer can not do anything then, either they will be busy preparing false cases against her family or get Anu out of jail.
Malini makes call and thinks Adi always picks call, even family is not picking calls, thinks they found out about divorce and hopes everything is fine at home. KC tells her that he has to present his argument in front of judge and procure a date, but Malini looks tense instead. She asks what argument has he prepared? He says what she knows about Satyakam, his news is not printed on page 3, he is sure she doesn’t know anything about Satyakam or Pagdandiya. She says Pagdandiya is around 500 km away from Delhi, it has 1100 population with only 1 school where girls can not study, etc., and continues describing in detail about Pagdandiya and Satyakam’s struggle. She then says she just visited Pagdandiya once, but has he visited it anytime. He nervously says not yet and thinks crazy lady is not totally crazy, she is half mad and half mature. She says he is still smiling sarcastically. He says he didn’t prepare any argument and is thinking of repeating her words. Peon informs that his turn is coming. KC takes Malini along.
Anu takes back her complaint against Tripathis. Inspector scolds Anu for filing a false case and warns her of dire consequences, apologize to Triapthi's families. Adi says its okay and walks away with his family. Anu walks out next. Aparna tells Anu that divorce was Malini’s decision and not Adi’s, she wanted to meet her and amicably solve this issue, but with whatever she did, she will not stop Adi from breaking this relationship; she breaks relationship with Anu and she should stay away from her family and house. Imlie walks to Anu next and says she didn’t show this clip to police because she is Malini’s mother and if she try to harm her family again, she will break her hands; she is revolutionary Satyakam’s daughter and can go to any extent to protect her family.
Tripathi family returns home from police station. Harish say he used to teach children that people can buy diamonds via money, but peals of dignity can be gained via hard work; all pears shattered today. Imlie says nothing wrong happened and false case on them also got quashed. Harish says its because of her. Rupali thanks her and says she would have collected the CCTV footage with great difficulty. Pankaj says even then she did. Imlie says whatever she did is for her family and thinks Anu is wrong. Radha says Anu’s daughter did a mistake and to cover up, Anu took them to police station while divorce is happening because of Malini’s affair. Adi says Anu is angry with him and vented out her anger on them all, so he is apologetic for whatever happened today. Aparna asks not to say that. He walks away. Aparna says don’t know why this boy is blaming himself. Rupali says tomorrow is Adi’s birthday. Nishant says he may not celebrate it. Imlie says they will not let him give any excuses and will make him laugh. Aparna says he doesn’t remember his birthday. Imlie says they will give him a surprise party, Rupali will take care of the decoration and she will order food from college canteen and they will rock the party.
Malini returns home. Dev asks if Imlie was with her? She says no. Dev informs Imlie took away CCTV footage. Malini says she will call Adi and find out. Anu walks in and asks who dared to let Imlie inside her house and who helped her? Malini asks what happened. Anu says she filed domestic violence case against Tripathi's families, but Dev’s illegitimate child brought CCTV footage and threatened her to take back the case. Malini shouts how can she do that, Tripahti's consider and respect her like a daughter. Dev says Anu stoops low each time. Anu says she can not see her daughter’s life being ruined like Dev ruined her life and can not see Malini’s divorce. Malini shouts its not Imlie’s mistake and she can not drag Imlie between her and Adi’s problems. Anu says Imlie is the culprit. Malini says remembers injustice on herself and thinks everyone will suffer like her. She tells Dev that she needs to explain to mom clearly and tells Anu that her mistake can not be an excuse to her bad behavior, its Dev’s mistake and not Imlie’s, Imlie suffered her whole life and she shouldn’t increase her troubles. Anu shouts to stop, they didn’t see what Imlie did today, Imlie is very dangerous and she will ruin Imlie’s life.
Imlie takes Sundar and Nishant to her college canteen. Sundar yells for waking him up early morning and bringing him here. Nishant asks Imlie if her canteen didi can complete the order in such a short span? Imlie says her canteen didi is very sweet. Sundar and Imlie’s nok jhok starts. Nishant goes to get order and tells canteen staff that there is Imlie’s order. He gives imlie/tamarind box. Nishant says he means his college student Imlie gave food order. Canteen didi brings order scolding staff for his mistake. Nishant gets shocked hearing his girlfriend Pallavi’s voice. They both stand emotional seeing each other. Sundar and Imlie walk in, and Sundar says he will taste food first. Nisant says no need for that as food must be tasty and asks bill. Pallavi walks away saying if he can clear the account with money. Staff brings bill, and Nishant leaves paying it. Imlie noticing his reaction asks canteen didi’s card and reads her name as Pallavi Thakur.
Malini thins today is Adi’s birthday, she didn’t prepare cake and wish him after so many years, but she can nothing left now. Lawyer calls her and asks if she is sure she wants divorce. She says yes and says will inform Adi that divorce date will be finalized soon. She emotionally look at her mangalsutra remembers Adi saying he shouldn’t have waited for 7 years to marry her and she hoping their relationship and love remains same forever. She removes her mangalsutra and wipes her sindhoor remembering Adi applying it during marriage.
Adi comes for breakfast and asks Aparna if no one wants to have breakfast. Aparna says they will have breakfast in hall. Adi asks if something is special today. Sundar says he should tell. Adi says he gets headache without tea and walks to hall. Everyone look at him smilingly. Adi asks why are they staring at him. Radha asks him to sit and watch TV. Adi says she never gives TV remote. Pankaj and Harish forcefully make him sit. He asks why they kept a box. Harish says its TV. Rupali gives him remote. Imlie emerges in TV box mimicking as a news reporter and jokes that the great arrogant Adi will smile today, they will have brakfast from outside, etc. She continues her jokergiri and everyone laugh. Finally, everyone wish him happy birthday. Adi thanks and hugs everyone. Rupali says it was Imlie’s idea. Imlie brings cake. He cuts cake and feeds it to everyone and then is about to feed Imlie when door bell rings and Malini walks in. Everyone stop smiling seeing her.
Precap: Adi asks Imlie if she can give this gift on his birthday and tells family that he wants to tell them something about him. Aparnaa asks what he wants to say. Malini reaches KC’s office and sees Adi and Imlie there. KC gets romantic and hugs Malini tightly.
