Neha come to Rano and tells that Rishi is not looking at her even once. Rano says now Lakshmi will see his true colors. Neha says he is a good guy. Rano says Lakshmi will see as Rishi will do something like Balwinder. She says if your relation haven’t happened then Lakshmi will also not get Rishi.
Rishi takes Laksmi to his room and gives her tissue paper to clean her dress. She hear the door locked and looks at Rishi, who is sitting on the bed and tying his shoe lace. Rishi says I shall thank waiter and you are here alone with me, in my room. He walk towards her and says it is the perfect moment, to get my birthday gift. Lakshmi moves backwards and picks knife from fruit bowl. He says I will agree with the kiss today, but you shall bring gift for me in my next birthday. He says you might have known that what I want, I shall get, you can’t refuse me.
Neha ask how much time? Rano says Lakshmi will come running out and then the tamasha will happen, and we will leave from here.
Rishi bends down on his knees, holds Laksmi's hand and kiss on her hand. Main phir bhi tumko chahungi plays… Rishi thank her for the birthday gift and says kiss is done. He ask why are you looking at me this way, and says nothing will happen as such, as that kiss you will get after marriage. He says though I am modern, but old fashioned in this matter. He again sit on the bed and ties his shoe lace. He get a call, says mom called, we have to leave urgently. Lakshmi look at him, as he hold her hand and takes her outside. She smile. Tu thodi der plays…….Neha and Rano are angry looking at them smiling. Rishi come to Neelam and ask if you called me? Neelam says I wanted to know where you are? Lakshmi think she always think wrong about him, he is good and truthful life partner just as Bau ji wanted. Shalu and Bani take Laksmmi aside and asks Lakshmi if she like Rishi, and will he marry her? Lakshmi says Bau ji wanted me to get such a guy who is honest, humble and stands with me in troubled times, fight with the world for my respect, who is my partner and friend. She says Rishi is like the one. Bani and Shalu get happy. Bani ask do you love him? Lakshmi says what she is feeling, she have never experienced it before, and says if this is a love then yes.
Rishi asks everyone for their attention and says actually Dad shall do this announcement. He goes to his Dad and thank him for making his life’s difficult decision easy and says I can’t wait to make Lakshmi as my life partner. Mr. Oberoi smile and says ok. He tells the guests that Rishi asked him to make an announcement, but he can’t do it until someone ask him to do so. He call Lakshmi and ask do you want to see your Bau ji smile daily? Lakshmi nod her head and smile. Mr. Oberoi says I got permission to announce, he announce that Oberoi’s got their daughter inlaw and Rishi will get his life partner now. Everyone clap. Ayush congratulate Rishi. Mr. Oberoi says I want to make one more announcement and announces their engagement tomorrow. Preetam hear the announcement and looks at Rano and Neha. Dadi congratulate Rishi and Lakshmi. Lakshmi touch her feet. Lakshmi then come to Neelam and touch her feet. Neelam says your place is not there, it is not easy to win my heart, but you did it. She hug her. Lakshmi smile. Neelam thank Mr Oberoi for making them meet their Lakshmi and for setting their family. Ayush tell Rishi that they shall celebrate. Ayush opens the champagne bottle. He says cheers. Everyone drink. Lakshmi goes aside. Rishi come to her and offers her drink. Lakshmi says she doesn’t drink. He says everyone drink here, and you have to drink as you are going to be part of my family now. He ask how many secrets of mine do you have with you? She says two, vada pav and fighting. Rishi tells that this is the third secret and tells that this shall be a secret, and says what I am drinking is not alcohol. He says nobody drinks in our family, it is non alcoholic drink, everyone wants to be happy with us, and tells that even their waiters are trained and knows what to give to everyone. He asks her to take the drink and drink it for everyone. He asks her to tell how is the taste? Lakshmi drinks and says its taste is bitter and sweet. Rishi teases her for drinking and calls her Punjabi girl. His friends come there and ask Rishi to come. Rishi says he will dance after marriage, don’t want anyone to impress Lakshmi. He tells Lakshmi that he has tackled them politely so that they don’t feel bad of their refusal. Lakshmi think she has to learn so much from him, he is the one like Bau ji wanted for me.
Rano tell Lakshmi that they shall leave, as her sisters are tired, and Neha is also feeling sleepy, she will get dark circles if she didn’t have a proper sleep. Mr. Oberoi asks them to come at 8 pm for Rishi and Lakshmi’s engagement. Neelam says you have to just come, we will do all the arrangements. Rano says we will leave. Rishi waves bye to Lakshmi. They leave. Neha tells Preetam and Rano that Lakshmi backstabbed her and snatched her Rishi. She will be cursed. Preetam says Lakshmi is your sister. Neha locks herself in her room. Rano says Neha is mad for that guy and he is not looking at her. She says we have to get her married just, not to make her Maharani, but. Lakshmi and her sisters come there. Preetam asks did you give money to rickshaw puller. Lakshmi and her sisters go to their room to sleep. Rano asks what is not there in my Neha and says Lakshmi is illiterate villager and Neha is educated. She says Lakshmi is old fashioned, Neha is modern. Lakshmi knows hindi, but Neha knows English. Preetam says whatever is written in their destiny will happen and asks her to go and change her dress. He says Gurucharan added money in my account, we have to go shopping tomorrow. Rano thinks how did Lakshmi’s destiny get so bright, and how she can get more than Neha?
The next day, Neelam asks Mr. Singh why did he make typical old fashioned decoration and ask who has approved this. Mr. Oberoi ask Singh to take Neelam’s opinion after getting it changed. She ask did you take medicine? He says yes and asks her to be normal. Mechanic Ashok comes there and touches Mr. Oberoi’s feet and says everything is good due to Rishi sir, I could open the garage as he helped him. He gives bill of Rishi’s car. Neelam ask about the bill amount. Mechanic Ashok tells that he has to change many parts and even engine, as it met with an accident. Neelam says accident? She calls Rishi, but he is busy in meeting and doesn’t see her calls. Neelam asks when did this accident happened? Ashok says Rishi told that he had a fight with Balwinder, when he was going, Balwinder and his friends attacked him. Neelam says that day Rishi went on the date. She recalls Rishi coming home late and telling that the date was auspicious and good. She says next day, when I asked him about the injury on his neck, he lied to me due to that girl. Mr. Oberoi says I will call him.
Lakshmi makes halwa for everyone and makes Bani and Shalu taste it. Bani asks her to make halwa in Oberoi kitchen, and everyone will get mad about her halwa. Neha ask Lakshmi to serve halwa to her too. Shalu remind Neha of when she showed her Rishi’s picture in the magazine and tells that they have a big house, many Servants. She says Di need not enter the kitchen to make halwa and says others’ dreaming is fulfilling. Lakshmi gives halwa to Neha. Neha throws it away and goes. Lakshmi scold Shalu. Shalu get angry and leave. Neha come out of the house and stop as Mr. Oberoi’s car comes there. Mr. Oberoi ask if she is fine. They walk inside. Balwinder comes and takes Neha aside. He says he attacked Rishi last night. Neha tells him that Rishi didn’t tell anything to anyone, tells that they have gone to their house, where Lakshmi went with Rishi to his room, and ask him to think what would have happened. She says today is their engagement. Balwinder says before attacking Rishi, he should have attacked Lakshmi’s respect and tells that she is sitting in his mind as his wife. He says she can’t marry anyone else. He says he will do anything to stop this marriage.
Neelam tells Rano that this engagement will not happen today. Rano asks what do you mean? Neelam says we thought she is honest, has good values etc, but I was wrong. She says yesterday I asked her. A fb is shown, Neelam asks about her meeting with Rishi. Lakshmi says everything was fine. She recalls Rishi’s promise and tells that everyone was fine. Fb ends. Neelam says Balwinder’s goon tried to kill our son and you lied to us. She says we wanted to make you Oberoi’s daughter inlaw, but not at the risk of our son’s life. She blames Rano for hiding this fact from them. Rano says even we didn’t know. Neelam says it is a lie, and asks if she didn’t see Rishi or the car. She says we have decided, we will not risk our son’s life due to her past with Balwinder, and tells that this engagement will not happen today, not tomorrow. She calls off the engagement. Lakshmi cry thinking about Rishi. Balwinder’s friend watches this from outside and smiles. Shalu and Bani go to Lakshmi. Balwinder’s friend tells Neha and him that Lakshmi’s engagement is cancelled. Shalu and Bani asks Lakshmi not to cry and asks why she didn’t tell this. Lakshmi says she had promised Rishi.
Neha thinks her mother will take advantage of the situation and will fix her alliance with Rishi. Rano tells Neelam that they have invited the guests for the engagement and tells that they have sent invite and the guests must have left from village. She says even your respect will be ruined. She says I have a way to save our respect. Mr. Oberoi asks what do you want to say? Rano says Neha. She asks them to fix Neha’s marriage with Rishi and says she is the one who is suitable to your son. Rishi comes there and says you are saying wrong. He tells Neelam that he saw her missed calls and couldn’t attended to her calls, as he was in the meeting. He says we didn’t tell you about whatever happened. He says it was not Lakshmi’s mistake, but it was my mistake. Neelam says it was Lakshmi’s mistake too. She says I asked her, and she didn’t tell me. Rishi says how could she tell you, and says I asked her not to tell you anything. He goes to Lakshmi and asks why she didn’t tell, when Mom was getting angry. Lakshmi says how could I tell, when I promised you? Mr. Oberoi asks why you asked Lakshmi not to tell your mom? Rishi says Mom was unwell one day before, and says if I had told you then you would have thanked her. He says she again saved me. He tells when the goons attacked them, Lakshmi’s dupatta covered his face when they break the glass mirror. He says I didn’t get even a scratch on me. He says I don’t know if this is done by Lakshmi or destiny. He says Lakshmi has done everything, I have seen everything with my eyes. He says Balwinder was about to attack me with a big stone, but Lakshmi stopped the car at the way and the big stone hit the car. He says I could have got serious injuries and she saved me. He says she was continuously ringing the horn so that people can gather there, and goons can escape. He says if your son is alive today, it is because of Lakshmi.
Rishi tell Neelam that Lakshmi had saved his life and she has nothing to do with Balwinder. Neelam goes to Lakshmi and apologizes to her. Lakshmi says elders shall not apologize to youngsters. Neelam requests her not to break the engagement and asks her to get engaged today itself. Lakshmi holds her hand and says sorry, assures that she will not hide anything from her again. Neelam smiles. Neha gets upset and goes to her room. Rishi thanks his Dad for messaging him at the right time to come here. He says sorry Mom and hug her. They leave.
Ayush stops his sister from going out just as the party begin. Other sister comes and they go to Neelam. Neelam tells Rishi that he is looking fine. Her daughter asks her if she can go out and will return soon. Neelam politely refuses. Lakshmi comes there with her sisters and Preetam family. Lakshmi touch Neelam’s feet and hugs her. She is about to touch Mr. Oberoi’s feet. He asks her not to touch his feet, but hug him. Lakshmi gets emotional. Shalu says even Bau ji used to called Di as Yaar. Mr. Oberoi says I am her Bau ji only, my talks and love is same as his. Lakshmi gets emotional. Mr. Oberoi asks them to go inside.
Precap: Lakshmi and Rishi are dancing. Balwinder thinks nobody can snatch Lakshmi from him, once he gets married to her. He comes to the party and sees Lakshmi and Rishi dancing. Rishi says you are my fiancé, and would be wife, I didn’t expect this from you. Lakshmi cries. Balwinder smiles.
