Anupama feel sorry for not speaking up for Anuj. Anuj walk to her. She apologize to him. He recites a poem for her seeing her in tears.
GK tell Hasmukh that when Anupama came out, he thought she would announce her marriage with Anuj. Hasmukh says even he waited for that moment, especially Anu herself. He notices Vanraj pampering and feeding fruits to pregnant Kinjal elated with the news of becoming a grandfather. Hasmukh says he knows the reason and describe how the woman feels when she becomes a grandmother and sacrifices his own happiness.
Anu tells Anuj how she felt when she heard the news about becoming a grandmother and couldn’t announce that she wants to marry again and continues pouring her heart out and apologizing to Anuj. Anuj says he is unable to understand both her happiness and dilemma. He says she shouldn’t get him wrong as he doesn’t even know how it feels when one becomes a groom, father, and grandfather, but he can see her happiness of becoming a grandmother. She says she wants to marry him and shy. He feel stunned and jumps in happiness. He says he was waiting for this moment since 26 years ago and openly wants to tell her whole family that he wants to marry her. She ask if he was expecting her to propose to him? He says her friend had already told him and shows his sindhoor bottle which he found at Shah house. She hold his hand and says she wants to tell him now what she couldn’t then and says she has her father’s blessings and children’s approval. He eagerly ask her to say it then. She says her answer is yes and she wants him that she Anupama Joshi and wants to make him Mr Anuj Anupama Joshi. He laugh and ask her to rethink once as once he hold her hand, he will never leave it. She keep her other hand on his hand and says she wants to be Anuj’s Anupama for the rest of her life. Tumhe Apna Banane Ki Kasam Khayi Hai.. song plays in the background. He says he is tired of acting as a good boy, so he will keep her sindhoor bottle as her gift near his heart as he is habituated to keep her things, like flower, magnet, heart, memories, and her approval. He then ask her to inform Shah family not to do any drama until their wedding or else he will fill her hairline immediately without giving them any chance to react. She hug him. Vanraj taunts if Anupama and her boyfriend didn’t return yet? Anu enter with Anuj and says they had gone to get sweet to celebrate the good news. Kinjal thank her and apologizes that birthday party is stopped in the middle because of her. Anu says birthday comes every year, but the happiness she gave will not come often. Kinjal says even then. Leela says any grandmother/daadi doesn’t look good celebrating birthday, grandmother look good celebrating grand children’s birthday and doing pooja and teerath yatra/religious travel. Jignesh jokes great grandmother means very old, toothless, ICU. Hasmukh tells Leela that any woman’s total identity is not one relationship and just like a heroine perform different roles where she performs pooja paat in 1 film, a housewife in another, a 16-year-old young loving girl in another, similarly every woman is a heroine who performs these roles; even she is a pooja paat performing daadi and a shying woman when he praises her beauty. Leela shy. Hasmukh says grandmother doesn’t shy, but a 16-year-old girl in her shy; similarly, Anupama is a housewife, a grandmother, and a 16-year-old girl who will also love and celebrate her birthday. Samar presents a 45-dish thali to Anupama to celebrate her 45th birthday. Jignesh jokes its a 44-1/2 dish thali as Leela finished half cup kheer. Leela says she was feeling hungry. Anu thank them all and identify who prepared each dish. Hasmukh says she had cut the cake last night, so they thought of doing something else. Samar says mummy always spent birthdays in the kitchen whether its their birthday, her birthday, or Kanhaji’s birthday; she was happy but was not participating in birthdays as she was always busy in the kitchen. Anu emotionally hug him. Hasmukh says they will sing for Anu today. They make her sit and taste the dishes. She shares Imlie candy with Anuj, leaving Vanraj jealous. Samar click family selfie. Vanraj walk to Anu. Anu says he must have come to taunt her and is always busy the whole day thinking of taunting her. He ask if she think he thinks only about her the whole day? She says let's talk as grandparents and ask him to suggest to Toshu to concentrate on Kinjal and give her long moral gyaan that a woman becomes a mother easily, but husband find it difficult to become a father and go in a shock like Toshu is; he knows there is a regular argument between Toshu and Kinjal, he should explain to Toshu to stop it. Vanraj says he will speak to Toshu. Anuj notice them together. Vanraj tells Anu that a man is like a kid who wants to run away from responsibility, but baby is a responsibility that can not be escaped and one has to sacrifice their freedom; Tosh is afraid of it, but will realize it soon. Leela order Kinjal to take a break from job till her delivery. Kinjal says she can’t. Leela gives Dolly’s example who took 1 year’s leave from job.
Dolly says her pregnancy was complicated. Leela says she doesn’t know all that. Anu hearing her conversation says she never took leave from household work during her 3 pregnancies and even doctor suggests to work. She ask if Leela stopped working during her pregnancies? Leela says she didn’t. Anu says it's Kinjal’s body and her wish. Leela walk away angrily warning her to stop giving 5-page lecture and not interfere in their family issues as she is an outsider now. Anu feeds kheer to Kinjal and asks if she informed her mother/Rakhi. Kinjal says she knows what happened last time. Anu says its between she and Rakhi, but Kinjal as a daughter should have a cordial relationship with her mother. Kinjal says her mother is a drama queen. Anu gives a lengthy moral gyaan regarding maika/mother’s place and mother. Meenu bring a gift box for Leela and says someone left it for her. Baa excitedly opens it asking who must have sent it and shout in fear seeing a fake snake. Samar says its fake. Jignesh says it has bindi, means it's nagin. Leela says nagin means Rakhi Dave. They all hear music outside and walk out to see Rahki dancing in style.
Precap: Rakhi asks Kinjal to accompany her as she wants her grandson to be born in a palace and not in a lower-middle class house. Rakhi tells Kinjal that she would have got a mother if Anupama was in this house and warns Shahs that if Kinjal feels uncomfortable, she will make their lives unformtable. Baa thinks Rakhi is right that Anu should be in Shah house.
