Anu tells Imlie that she will be disqualified if she doesn’t answer the questions. Imlie says she can accept defeat but not her amma/Aparna’s defeat and accept defeat. Host is about to announce this year’s winner when Anu stop him and says everyone takes winner’s name, but they will take a loser’s name this time; announces the loser of best daughter inlaw competition is Tripathi’s servant Imlie. Imlie walk to Anu’s table, takes water glasses from there and offers one to Renu first and then to Aparna. Aparna walk away. Host announces winner of best bahu trophy is 2 times winner and Mrs Renu Arora’s DIL/bahu Mrs. Prachi Arora. Everyone clap for Prachi while Tripathi family sit sadly. Prachi thanks everyone for making her a hattrick winner. Renu stop Imlie and apologize to her for calling her maid and says she insulted her by calling a maid even before competition started, but today she realized that daughter inlaw does what even blood relatives don’t; her daughter inlaw forgot her after being declared a winner, but Imlie took care of her saas and me, so Imlie is the best daughter inlaw for her. She tells Aparna that she is lucky that she got the best daughter inlaw. Judges back her and say Imlie showed creativity in each round and proved the true meaning of a daughter inlaw who loves her in-laws selflessly and become their dear ones, so they decide that Mrs Imlie Tripathi should be the winner of this year’s competition. Everyone clap for Imlie. Host takes trophy from Prachi and give it to Renu. Renu offers it to Imlie saying she is the best daughter inlaw. She apologize to Aparna and family for insulting them and prays for Imlie and Aditya’s long lasting relationship. Host then calls Adi on stage. Renu asks Adi to go on stage. Adi walks on stage. Imlie shows trophy to him. Host asks Imlie if she wants to say anything to the audience. Imlie in her village style says no. Frustrated Prachi says villager Imlie can not speak and everyone got pity on her and gave to trophy. Imlie says she is right, mingling with city people like Prachi is more than enough for a villager like her, working for them is more than enough, being insulted is more than enough instead of being praised; she came to city not as a servant but as Adi’s wife; god makes relationships and they need to follow it, she was following it by heart, but knowing the truth, society insulted her and her family; she entered competition not to win the trophy but to gain her family’s respect and blessings and wants them to accept her as their daughter inlaw. Audience clap for her. Aparna walk away from there followed by other senior Tripathis. Judges thank everyone and walk away. Anu walk away fuming. Host thanks everyone and ends the competition. Rupali and Pallavi congratulate Imlie. Nishant says Imlie proved that she is the world’s best daughter inlaw and society has to accept her. Pallavi ask her not to worry as they will convince senior Tripathis to accept her.
After returning home, Imlie fills a bowl with honey. Adi says Pallavi is making a victory cake for her. Imlie says its for Aparna. Adi reminds her how she climbed tree and brought honey for Aparna, he used to get angry for her behavior but now realized that she can go to any extent for the sake of family and this time she bore humiliation by society to get respect for Aparna, so she should remind this to Aparna. Boss calls him and informs that they are getting a threatening call after his article is published, so he should be careful. Adi agrees. Imlie asks what happened. Adi asks not to bother about usual threats and concentrate on convincing maa. goons barge into Adi’s office and gunpoint take his profile photo from boss.
Anu returns home and tells Malini that her step sister cleverly won the competition and proved that she is the best daughter inlaw than Malini for Tripathis. Malini says its good for her and hopes Tripathis will not treat her as a servant now as Imlie cares for them. Anu calls servant and says he is a good boy who wakes up early and sleeps late and takes care of them all, so she will get him marry to Malini. Malini says this is embarrassing, sends servant away, and asks Anu what is she trying to do? Anu says she is reminding her that they give bonus to servants and not their son. Malini says Imlie is her step sister and not a servant. Anu says Adi loves Imlie as she is a servant; if there was someone else than Imlie of equal status, will Malini had left her husband for that woman; cheap women like Imlie trick rich people like Imlie’s mother tricked Dev, Imlie’s mother shouts that she is betrayed because Dev didn’t marry or fell in her trap , she got comfortable with Dev and when he didn’t budge, she sent Imlie with a plan and made Malini feel that she is snatching something from a poor and helpless girl; they fight with equal opponents, but Imlie is not equal to her and is winning everything without fighting and Malini is losing everything; she remind her what Tripathis did when she spoke against Imlie; Imlie is manipulating her emotions and using Aditya with her lies as Adi hated her before and now is mad in her love; when Adi wasn’t ready to change his bike, he easily changed his wife; does Malini think Imlie is innocent, etc.
Pankaj offers medicine to Aparna when she writhes in pain after having chillies during best daughter inlaw competition. Imlie with Adi walks into their room holding trophy. Pankaj walks out fuming. Aparna asks if she dared to enter her room. Imlie says she brought honey for her. Aparna says she came to provoke her and asks her to set her shop somewhere else instead of her room. Adi’s boss gets terrorists arrested and over the phone informs him about the incident and main goon Jugnu escaping with Adi’s photo and warning him to be careful. Adi thank him for informing him and think he is not bothered about himself, but what if terrorists reach his family and harm them? Aparna says she will not forgive Imlie for lying and betraying her, so she can get out of her room with her trophy. Imlie keep trophy aside and says she doesn’t need it and just needs her love, she insists her to have some honey. Aparna deny. Malini enters and offers her honey. Aparna calms down seeing her. Malini says mom informed her what happened during competition, she got worried for her and came uninformed. Aparna says she can even have poison from her daughter inlaw. Imlie thanks Malini and walk aside. Aparna asks Malini why didn’t she inform them about Adi and Imlie’s relationship when she knew about it, she dreamt of Malini becoming her daughter inlaw since 7 years, but Malini left her breaking their relationship. Malini says she has bonding with her, but Adi doesn’t love her and hence its better she left. Aparna says Adi is infatuated with Imlie and has fallen in her trap and once he get back into his senses, he will be back to Malini. Imlie think Aparna is telling this in anger, but Malini will calm her down. She goes searching for Adi.
Adi walks out of house. Imlie also walks out and thinks she thought Adi came out, but there is no one here. Terrorists kidnap Adi and stuff him in a bag. She sees a truck and Terrorists loading a bag and asks why they have parked their truck here? Terrorist says someone ordered vegetables, they are going. She then asks Sundar if he saw Adi? He says Adi was speaking over phone here and rush to kitchen. She finds Adi’s mobile ringing and picks it. Boss asks Adi to leave the house with his family as terrorists know his location. She realizes Adi is kidnapped and shouts his name.
Kidnappers torture Adi in their den. Adi asks kidnappers if they work for Tiwari, he will not spare them. Kidnappers punch and warn him and walk away to inform someone that they kidnapped Adi.
Imlie cry after informing family about Adi’s kindap while Rupali and Pallavi console her. Malini consoles Aparna. Radha comments Adi got into trouble since Imlie came in his life. Rupali says Adi got into trouble due to his job and not Imlie. Pallavi says its time to console Imlie than accusing her. Nishant returns and informs that police arrested terrorists. Pankaj asks who kidnapped Adi then?
Anu over phone speaks to kidnapper and says she didn’t know he is so efficient. Kidnapper says he can kill anyone with the money she gave and asks if he should kill Adi? Anu asks him to brutally torture Adi as she wants to hear him shouting in pain, but not kill him.
Tripathi family visit police station and plead with inspector to find Adi soon. Imlie cry to bring back her husband. Senior inspector hears her and asks if she is Adi’s wife? Aparna says Malini is Adi’s wife and Imlie is just their servant, she is a dust which wants to touch the sky unsuccessfully. Radha says Imlie is rebel Satakyam’s relative and must have got Adi kidnapped via him. Nishant ask her not to accuse Imlie. Imlie accept that Satyakam is her dadda and loves Adi a lot, so he will not kidnap Adi. Inspector orders constable to arrest Imlie. Nishant and other ask not to do that. Malini also stops him. Inspector says her husband is kidnapped and they can not blindly trust Imlie by her words, so they need to arrest Imlie. Constables drag Imlie to interrogation room. Nishant and Rupali shout at elders for getting Imlie arrested and venting out their anger on her. Malini calls Dev and asks him to reach police station soon. Inspector questions Imlie what is her plan, why is she calling herself as Adi’s wife while Adi’s wife from a respected family is already present here. Imlie says she is not lying. Inspector ask if she has any marriage certificate or photo.
Adi orders kidnappers to free him and he will speak to police and lessen their punishment. Goons brutally trash him.
Inspector threatens Imlie to inform where are Adi and Satyakam. Imlie cry that she doesn’t lie.
Dev tells Malini that he is reaching soon. Anu ask what happened? He inform that someone kidnapped Adi and police is doubting Imlie. Anu acts and thinks after a long time, her wish is fulfilling, Adi and servant are both trapped. She requests Dev to take her along as she wants to help Tripathis. He agrees. She thinks she watches her show in front row and can not miss it.
Precap: Imlie asks Anu if she got Adi kidnapped, threatens to punish her if something happens to Adi, and forcefully snatches he mobile. Imlie tells Anu that legaly she is still Adi’s wife and will call herself his wife to protect him. Imlie gathering mob gives speech that she will fight to protect her suhaag. Malini wears her mangalsutra and sindhoor back.
