Anuj tells Anupama that he can question her family, but he doesn’t want any drama on the festival day. He says he doesn’t have any problem if she has come to this house as a daughter to care of the family, but when everyone are enjoying festival, she is preparing gujiya/sweet when it can be prepared by the whole family or bought from a store; he understands Bapuji, Kinjal, Pakhi, and Samar can not help her, but why can’t Toshu, Kavya, Vanraj, and Baa help her, etc. He says its not good to be too good and let others misuse her goodness. She smile. He says he has right to scold her, orders her to accompany him out right now, cleans her hand, and walks out holding her hand. Shahs stand stunned seeing Anuj and Anuj walking to them holding hands. Anuj tells Baa that she can ask Anu to serve her, but not ask her to do household chores. Baa asks who will do household chores then? Anuj asks whose house is this? Baa says her son. Anuj says she got her answer. Kavya asks if V will fry gujiya now? GK and Samar smirk. Anuj tells Baa that Anu is her guest. Baa asks if she should perform her aarti. Anuj says if she wishes so and says he will fry gujiya after holika dahan pooja and smiles at Anu, irking Vanraj. Baa and Bapuji perform holika dahan pooja first followed by Vanraj and Kavya, Kinjal and Toshu, and others. Anu performs pooja with Anuj next holding his hand and looking into his eyes, irking Baa and her team and rejoicing Anu’s supporters. Dolly tells Samar that bhabhi and Anuj look pretty together and are world’s best jodi. Baa hopes something happens which makes Anu stay back at Shah house forever and Anuj disappears from her life. A firewood falls between Anuj and Anu. Anuj get alert and protects her. Samar says let us do dhamal after pooja. Meenu says let us dance on her favorite song. Vanraj and Anuj dance on O Bidda Ye Mera Adda.. song. They then arm wrestle. Bapuji and Anu look concerned seeing their tussle. Vanraj overpowers Anuj. Anu encourages Anuj to win. Anuj wins, leaving Vanraj’s team frowning and Anu’s team rejoicing and clapping for Anuj. Anuj tells Vanraj that he was playing that day and today he was fighting and whenever he fights, he wins. He announces ANUJ KAPADIA IS BACK, greets Bapuji and says he will return tomorrow for holi celebration. Samar and Pakhi ask him to come by morning. Anu takes Bapuji’s permission and goes to drop him out. Vanraj vents out his anger after losing.
Anu mimics Anuj and says he became a hero today. Anuj mimics her back and says he felt angry seeing her working in the kitchen and can not tolerate anyone pointing at her. She smiles. He asks her to return home. She says she too eagerly wants to return home, but can not leave Kinjal alone until she gets well. He asks why did she perform pooja with him? She asks why can’t she? He laughs and says next year even she will have a baby in her hand. She stands frowning. He says he means Kinjal’s baby. She warns him to stop laughing. Anuj says he will apply holi to her first. She says even she wants that, but there are many at home who want that. Anuj says its impossible, recites a shayari, and ask her to promise that he will apply color to her first. She promises and says tomorrow’s holi will be the memorable event in their lives. Vanraj overhears their conversation and grins.
Anupama think last year’s holi was the first holi in 26 years, but she feels this year’s holi would be her life’s first holi. She thinks how will she protect herself from others applying holi to her till Auj arrives. Anuj feels excited thinking he and Anu will apply holi to each other first.
Vanraj remembering Anu and Anuj together thinks just like holika burnt today, he will burn Anu and Anuj’s happiness tomorrow.
Anuj opens door excitedly thinking Anu came, but sees Vanraj instead and asks why did he come here? Vanraj says people visit friends during festival and he is visiting an enemy. Anuj says he is not interested in his borderline psychotic talks and asks him to leave. Vanraj asks if he will not listen to what he will say. Anuj says he has only 3-4 repeated dialogues, Vanraj Shah is back, I will not leave Anupama, I will change the table, etc.; he is not interested in his blah blah.. Vanraj says its mannerless to kick out a guest, they don’t let their guest leave until they want to; he has called a guest and is forcefully holding her. He says Anu and Anuj love each other, he will not let them reunite again. He asks Anuj to react, but whatever he does Anupama will not return to him. Anuj wakes up from sleep and realizes it was his nightmare. He think Anu will return home definitely after some time; its his and Anu’s first holi and he will not let Vanraj ruin it.
The next morning, Baa apply color to Radha Krishna’s idol and wishes happy holi. Bapuji wish her happy holi and apply color to her. Jignesh says he wanted to apply color to jijaji first. Bapuji and Baa apply color to him.
Kavya brings snacks for Vanraj and says since he doesn’t get out of room the today, she brought snacks for him there. She apply color to his cheek and wishes him happy holi. She ask how it feels when someone has bhang? He says once mamaji had bhang and rode cycle to Jamnagar, but forgot to remove the stand and peddled his cycle the whole day. She laughs. He reminds Anupama’s reaction last time. Kavya says it was more funny. He smiles. She says she forgot that he looks handsome smiling. Baa calls her. She try to leave. Vanraj holds her hand and gets romantic singing Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyaar Aaya Hai.. song. She asks him to come out and play holi with everyone. He refuse. She asks him to lock the door well and not let Anu apply color to him like last time. Vanraj remembers Anu and Anuj’s promise and thinks he will ruin Anu’s holi this time and picks holi packet from drawer.
Shah family apply color to each other.
Anupama get ready in white dress and admires her own beauty. Samar says she is looking very happy and prays the color of love stays in her life forever. She prays he gets his love soon. He asks her to come out with him. She shyingly inform him that she is waiting for Anuj and blesses him. He asks her to lock the door from inside until Anuj comes. Anu eagerly waits for Anuj. Anuj sees kids playing outside his house and thinks if he gets out, they will apply color to him, what should he do now. Anu hearing door knock feels excited thinking Anuj came. Vanraj holding color waits thinking they both ruined his happiness, he will throw color on her and ruin their happiness. Anu smells Vanraj’s scent and says she knows he is here to ruin her festival, he must have heard she and Anuj or Samar’s conversation; he ruined her 25 holis and she will not let him ruin this holi, etc. He walks away frustrated. Anu hopes Anuj comes soon.
Anuj covers himself with a raincoat and helmet and think nobody can color him now. He walks towards Shah house happily. Toshu sees Kinjal coughing, offers her water, and asks if she is fine. She nods yes. He apologize to her for his mistake and says he is feeling guilty and shouldn’t have said those words. She says a few words pierce in the heart forever and will never come out, it will take time to heal and only he can do that over time.
Anuj messages Anu that he has arrived and is waiting for her at the garden. Anu thinks Mr Shah will not give up so easily and must be waiting outside hiding.
Precap: Anu and Anuj color each other. Ye Laal Ishq.. song plays int he background. They then throw color on Vanraj and wish happy holi, leaving him frowning. Inebriated Anuj climbing a truck announces his and Anu’s marriage. Rakhi says its a heartbreaking news. Anuj slips while getting down. Anu shouts in fear seeing that.
