Anuj enjoys dinner with Anupama and says 95% bride and groom won’t be knowing the menu of their wedding, they are having same food even for dinner. She ask if they should throw it away then? He says they can have it. He ask if GK had his dinner? She says she took dinner for him, but he was tired and slept having only milk. He finish dinner. She offers her pallu to clean his mouth. He says she will spoil his habit. She says it’s not and try to leave. He holds her pallu. She feels shy. He says she look tired. She says even he. Pehla Pehla Pyar Hai.. song plays in the background. He help her in the kitchen and remove her jewelry romantically looking at her. He then lifts her and takes her to the bedroom.
The next morning, Hasmukh performs pooja while Samar prepares tea. Vanraj and Leela return home from Leela’s mother’s house. Pakhi ask how is grandma? Vanraj says she is fine now and uncle stayed back to take care of her. Kinjal and Toshu join family. Vanraj offers her medicines and says what if her mummy is not here, he will take care of her. Leela notices Kavya busy on phone and think something is wrong.
Anupama get ready while Anuj is still asleep and plays hide and seek with sunlight on his face disturbing his sleep. He opens his eyes. She fix his specs. He smiles looking at her. She feel shy.
Kavya call Anirudh and speaks to him. Leela catch her and scolds her for speaking to her ex-husband. Family gathers, and Hasmukh asks what happened? Leela says their daughter inlaw was hiding and speaking to her ex-husband. Kavya says she will speak to Anirudh openly now as she was waiting for Anupama’s wedding, she will even call Anirudh home. Vanraj shout at her. She shouts back. Vanraj says he thought he would start afresh and take care of his family, but she never let him be in peace. Kavya ask if he realized now how it feels when they ruin their partner’s peace and break their heart? She says Anupama helped her a lot, so she was silent till her wedding was over. He ask what she need?
Anupama perform tulsi pooja and prays to god that she has new house, new life, but old relationships and prays for Hasmukh, her children, and Anuj. She does pooja singing bhajan. Anuj and GK join her.
Kavya hand over divorce papers to Vanraj, leaving everyone in shock. She says she just needs exit from his life with mutual consent. Leela shout why is she still here then? Kavya says she will stay in this house till the divorce and even Anirudh will visit her. Leela says she will slap her and Anirudh. Kavya says they should stay together till the divorce without any drama and walk away. Leela shouts she can not tolerate her son’s insult in her house.
Anupama performs kitchen pooja and continues her long self-obsessed speech.
Anupama rejoice seeing a new gas in the kitchen and thinks she will prepare halwa for her first kitchen ritual as GK and Anuj love it. She search for lighter. Anuj enters and switch on the gas and says its automatic as he didn’t want his Anu to waste time searching for lighter. Anu excitedly says its too good and ask him to teach her how to use it.
Vanraj walk on the road fuming recalling Kavya’s taunts and divorce demand.
Anuj help Anupama in the kitchen. Anupama ask why is he doing this? He remind her that he promised to share the household work with her. She make him smell the halwa. He says its nice. Tum Hi Hamari Ho Manzil My Love… song plays in the background. He ask her to call Samar as he had called last night to inform about Vanraj’s grandmother’s health issue. He call Samar who doesn’t pick call. Anu says maybe he is asleep as children are tired after the yesterday's rituals. He then calls Hasmukh and even he doesn’t pick call. Samar ask Hasmukh if he should call Anu back? Hasmukh says today is Anu’s first kitchen ritual and he doesn’t want to spoilt it with their problem. Samar says he will message Anu later that they were tired and couldn’t wake up on time. Hasmukh hope Anu doesn’t call Leela. He get nervous seeing Leela’s changed behavior. Vanraj return home and says he wants to make an announcement.
Anuj kisses Anupama’s cheek while preparing breakfast. Anupama feels shy and says GK may see them. He says there is nothing wrong in it and asks her to stop being in the kitchen all the time unless it is unnecessary. He further says she doesn’t have to take care of him too much to express her love for him. Anupama feel shy. Anupama tells Anuj that taking care of others is in her nature and she will continue to do so, she will not spoil him though with her care. Anuj kiss her again, and she feel shy again. Anupama senses something is wrong at Shah house when no one receive her call.
Vanraj addresses family that he thought his anger would be gone along with Anupama, but his anger would never leave him. He further says they need to handle the problem on their own as Anupama is gone out of their house now and he will take the responsibility of house again. He asks them to support him in fulfilling his responsibilities and he will show that he is capable to manage the house. Angrily Leela ask family to pay attention to Vanraj’s word. Youngster video call Anupama. Anupama and Anuj receive the call and chat with them and Hasmukh. Leela as usual speak rudely with Anupama indirectly blaming her for the problems in Vanraj’s life. Hasmukh diverts the topic and says Leela is angry with them for something else. He ask family not to inform Anupama about the issues at their house.
Anuj discusses with Anupama about honeymoon trip, leaving Anupama blushing again.
Precap: Anuj and Anupama enjoy quality time at a beach. Hame Tumse Hua Hai Pyar Ab Kya Kare. Vanraj gets irked hearing Kavya chatting with Anirudh. Barkha tells Anupama that she is from Kapadia family now and should stop her middle class behavior. Anupama replies that her middle class behavior maintains balance in her life.
